View Full Version : Adventure content free forever?

I'm more wondering if that would be doable money-wise, or maybe just everything but the expansion packs. It certainly SEEMS like the free months have done an amazing job of bringing new people in, and from what I've seen a fair number of them have been spending money even without the impetus to buy packs. Of course, I don't have any hard numbers to back that up. Maybe it's been a dead loss.

What would be really cool is to have a weekly rotation of free adventure packs, then the following week have thoes packs on sail for like 50% or something.

That would be unsustainable. Right now were in lockdown. Thats why there are more playing.

Ddo is fun to play even with limited content for a new player. There are many things that can be done like

A free trial 1 month or 2 week vip for any new accounts.

Or more bundles.

Also i think a lot of old content can be reworked and loot be buffed like what they did to red fens and catacombs.

Theres a lot of content that nobody bothers to run anymore (inc. f2p quests) that can be made relevant again by just buffing the loot to keep old players and new players

I agree. That would also direct players to certain packs so more grouping for those quests.

Make all quest packs free except for the large expansion packs (Sharn, Shadowfell, RL etc). These packs have generally better content and contain the loot most people want, therefore people will pay. This will hopefully scratch everyone’s itch.
