View Full Version : Is it actually still possible to solo Desert Caravan on Elite at Lvl 13 or under?

Since I've returned to the game I've noticed this quest seems to have been changed with how the mobs spawn making it much much easier to fail due to caravans being destroyed.

Now I'm sure some Sorcs and Warlocks have enough blasting power and CC to solo this quest still BUT what about other classes?

It is most certainly possible. I run it almost every life with an archer (she has never used a melee weapon in any of her lives). It does take some creative CC techniques and I fail almost as many times as I succeed. Using Terror Arrows is an unappreciated method of CC.

It is possible, but it's not easy. Certainly easier with a ranged attack character than with melee because melee have to spend more time running back and forth killing the enemies. If you aren't up for it, don't feel bad. It's one of the quests that I don't bother with unless I'm doing favor cleanup.

If your build doesn't work solo in a particular quest, you could try to get a group together for that quest.

Going to give you a hint on this one.

The thing about desert caravan is pretty much everything you kill respawns, the faster you kill, the faster it respawns. The objective is to keep the caravan wagons intact. Nothing else. So if you have good CC, the quest is pretty easy. If you don't, it is a mad scramble. Anything you CC won't respawn. So if you have long term crowd control, use it. One of the longest is the bard fascinate.
