Why are the two "personalities" of the Inquisitive and Covetous sentiences so similar?

The Covetous sentience does the oily, greedy thing really well while the Iquisitive sentience should probably be very different.

I find the Inquisitive gem to be a very oily/greasy sniveling creeper... whereas the Covetous I her as more of a corrupted and greedy Irish priest, like a less angry Alexander Anderson from Hellsing Ultimate Abridged.

Which is sort of silly... I mean ALL sentient gems function the exact same way. The only difference is the voice/personality. I'm skeptical that many have raided exclusively for this item or even that its rarity is important. Frankly, the inability to sample its personality in any way is most likely a detriment to its desirability. Now had the raid sentient gem come pre-fed with enough sentient XP to open a second slot, or had it come with a celebrity voiced personality or even Strahd's voice, or had it come pre-fed a spark... then its rarity would mean something and it would actually be worthwhile as raid loot. As it is, without being able to hear it, I am underwhelmed.

One of the best jewel voices IMO, though sadly yet to get one. Wish they'd add it to the rune purchase list. Such a waste to put all that effort behind a stupid rarity level.

Well I went over the entire thing. I like the writing... the voice is meh to me. But better than Inquisitve, that dude is whiny, creepy and cringey. Still no good reason for its "rarity". Isn't that the definition of false scarcity to create or inflate a perceived value?
