Something is going on and it's not pretty.
Playing for longer than 1 hour gets literal hiccups in performance, and restarting client helps, for a time.
Except right now, I was in Newcomers, pain room (you know which one) and game started stuttering BAD.
In desperation, I tried restarting client, and found myself in friggin KORTHOS, exit from Grotto...
Best part? My bind point is on guild airship.
Even better?
Korthos storyline is RESET!
I did it this life and now it's undone...
SSG, what in Khyber is going on?

I had extremely bad lag in The Newcomers as well, in that elevator room ... Which I thought was more indication that particle effects might contribute to lag (an old-ish theory of mine).

Tried to pass it for ~20 minutes, and every time I thought I managed to make last jump, I get teleported to water (literally, first I see successfully jumping on platform, but next second, I'm in water...)
That quest hates any sort of lag, latency, and any form of network stutter.
It would be much less stressful if you could disable last two air jets like first one, but nooo, someone thought it was good idea to force players to switch them on the run, which often means you have both of them blowing for ~5 seconds (every time I managed to solo that quest it was by pure luck getting blown to exit from room, not by "skillful" air jet management)...
My biggest issue is not that quest though, it borked by design (like Best laid plans prototype optional).
issue was: Why was I at exit from grotto after relogging?
At worst I was supposed to find my toon chatting with newcomers quest giver...
THAT is what confuses me (and as I said, I got bind point at guild ship), so there is no reason for my toon to get there, unless something REALLY bad happened with server...
