I like it so much I proposed to my wife in full plate at a Renaissance Festival. My reason for bringing this up is because lately, the heavy armor in the game looks to me like armor one might display, but wouldn't be caught dead wearing. They are shiny or brightly colored in blue and a pinkish red and I have a mirrored random armor covering almost every one I have to wear because, I hate them.
I was wondering if there is a slightly deranged dev with an affinity towards spikes, antlers, ridges and possible blood splatter that might design a few types of armor that might fit under the heading of scary, intimidating, feral or even terminal masculinity? I see my Dwarven fighter as well as my Horc and Dragonborn barbarians as the types that would lick their blades clean after a good battle. Giving their armor a good rinse only after buzzards started following, giving away their location, because of the smell. This is the narrative in my head about my warriors, a deranged dev might be somewhat of a kindred spirit, hence the request.
I understand that the Feywild might not be the pack for menacing, spiked armor or old school, heavy metal, pyrotechnics cool weapons. But bring on the cloaks that look like dragon wings or armor with ridges or vertebrae going down the center of the back soon, because thinking about unicorns and fairy dragons with their pretty colors and butterfly wings is really going to test my love for this game. While DDO goes to the fey, D&D goes to Avernus. I want to go there next please, I'd like to swim in the black blood of the earth, drink a potion that gives bonuses to my current buzz and defeat Lo Pan and the storms in HELLo Little China.
Thank you for reading, if it made a dev laugh or smile consider my armor request.
PS, My wife loves all the bright colors and looks forward to unicorns in the Feywild.
