Suggestion to make playing at cap for a prolonged time worthwhile - which is not currently the case in my opinion.
1) Up the karma cap from 6 mill xp to a higher number (exact number tbd).
2) Give an option to reset all first time bonusses (but not favor or flagging) for karma (price tbd).
3) Give an option to earn an epic PL without being reset to level 20 for karma (price tbd but obviously greater than 6 mill)

SSG should make Reaper XP higher for quests at/near cap than it is for lower level quests. That would be pretty cool and it would be a nice bonus to encourage people to stay at cap.

Funny. I am sure you know they already did this - but as far as I am concerned it has proven not to be enough - hence the suggestion. In particular first time bonusses are why it is not enough thus the suggestions to reapply those without having to TR.

They already did that by doubling RXP for 30+ quests. They have since shifted XP from first time (now 95% instead of 125%) to boost Daily bonus to 40% to further encourage at cap gameplay. Changes to how RXP works has also opened up party ranges opening up dozens of quests that epic levelers previously closed to 30s. Add in end game gear is such a massive power leap, it is easier to do higher Reaper levels at end game as well as easier to get parties for high reaper at end game, staying at cap is now the best way to farm RXP.

The only reason to not stay at cap is the TR grind. That is its own bag of worms, but I feel that end game is in a better state than it has been in a long time. The more effective RXP farming makes me feel rewarded for staying at cap when I want a break from the TR grind rather than punished.

There also exists the "throw money at it" solution already. If you desire past lives while staying at cap, Ottos boxes (with XP pots and VIP) just 400k short of taking you 1-30 (200k short on 10% XP weekends). Sure the price is absurd, but I suspect any system that would allow you to bypass their money makers from the TR grind would be similarly exorbitant.

1) I wouldnt mind seeing the Karma cap go up to 8M just to make it a little easier to front-load a sphere for the next ETR cycle, be able to bank the extra for next time and have a bit more flexibility with the sphere you actually play in, especially for that 28-30 push where monster stats ramp up a lot.

2) No, this is just essentially buying XP for Karma...and Karma is earned alongside XP already, so that'd be serious double-dipping

3) If you dont actually reincarnate then its not a reincarnation, its just buying PLs for Karma. Again, Karma is not a currency like Rems, to be traded for permanent bonuses.

I think the most elegant solution for cap play is going to be some kind of progress sharing or acceleration between alts, so you can keep a char at cap for cap play while also being able to do the TR train, and not have the progress completely isolated to one or the other.

This is why I TR. This is also why I hate TRing. First time bonuses are so good, that it's worth TRing just to get them. I can get about 600k RXP per life with a 30% XP pot. I've spent time at cap accruing RXP without first time bonuses via R10 dailies. I wanted to /wrist after a month of doing that.

In my opinion, it's plenty enough...

I spend a ton of time at cap.

They have raids (with raid runes and threads of fate), excellent reaper xp, and sentient xp food...

Plenty to do at cap these days...

Great challenge too if you feel like it, by running high reaper...

It's as good as it's ever been. I'm not very happy they are thinking about increasing the level cap actually.

Honestly, I don’t think they need to do anything to promote more people playing at cap as there is always by far a higher percentage of players at cap than any other level in the game. Sure, there tend to be cycles when a lot of players up and TR en masse, but there are always other players leveling up to fill in the void.

Probably the best thing to help out at-cap play would be a server merge, or adding cross-server grouping.
