Alch question

I'm level 14 Alchemist now, and am having trouble. I am running a lot of 13/14 dungeons, and just dying because of spell resistance. I literally will throw my entire artillery at a specific mob, or boss and miss every single throw because they are resisting. I ran Subversion three times, and can't get past the frog because it not only resists everything, and keeps casting the spell where I can't throw anything. Just either run or die. I also keep wasting healing pots because 1 if you are standing against a wall or something, the heal will not take hold, or my target keeps changing and I waste the throw.
Maybe I am answering my own question, but do I need to build up spell penetration?

Could help alot or try not using the spell pen cc and just focusing on non spell pen resistable damage like acid i here its good

And maxing your intel and maybe hard locking the boss with tab - alt button
