Did you put 1 rank into tumble

I ran off a stair - first toon back on hardcore and only took half health.
I credit tumble skill for that save.


Allows you to tumble and roll away from attacking enemies. Tumbling can be accomplished by blocking and using a movement key. A skill rating higher than 30 allows you to dive to the side and do back flips instead of rolling. Skill also reduces falling damage.

Tumble definitely.

And spot is as high as it can be on all my characters.. whether trapper or not.

I used to put 1 rank into Tumble, but then I got a Skill Tome of Tumble and now I don't have to have 1 rank because the Skill Tome counts.

Sadly doesn't work for Disable Device and Open Lock...

I just tried this. No ranks into tumble, used a +5 tumble skill tome. Still take little hops. With ship buffs and everything. :( Tumble total mod is 44.
But... if you talk to Tag Hardcastle in the marketplace, he will cast tumble on you and you can tumble normally. :)
