Common Sense Guild Rules:

-We will not tolerate any bullying, abusive, derogatory attitudes or language in the guild, period.
-Be nice, friendly and helpful to all. Remember that you are representing the guild wherever you go.
-No cussing please in guild chat
-Keep conversations classy in ALL chats; no offensive (e.g. racist/sexist), vulgar (e.g. nsfw) or polarizing (e.g. religion/politics) topics. This rule also applies to character names.
-Respect the other members. We are all dying over and over in this event, losing gear, money, time - be understanding.
-No begging or selling in guild chat (we're a fam, not a biz). Please use the trade-crafting channel in Discord or in DDO.
-During adventure groups, especially reaper, the leader of the group has the final say regarding decisions/strategies. Be polite and listen.
-Be generous and people will be generous with you.


Common Sense Loot Rules

-Please pass what you don't need to someone who can use it.
-Please do not be greedy (or needy).
-Please do not loot the guild chests, they are for everyone.

Question about inactivity: how many days can we be inactive before getting the boot? Asking due to an upcoming 5-day trip where I'll have no access to DDO :(

Just send me a tell when you're online; there's a lot of turn over due to people dying - so many are chain dying to Hera, I think she's the queen of death for HCL2

Due to the overwhelming interest to participate in Death Smile and the number of people wishing to get in, please log in your toons often to hold your spot, we are removing after 48 hours of inactivity. Very low-level toons 1-3 will be removed after 24 hours of inactivity.

Nothing personal if you are removed due to inactivity - when you are back, send me a tell and I will do my best to work you back in.

One of our guildmates, Elbereth, has been tracking deaths, and by far traps are killing more people than anything else - followed by, not reapers, but kobold shaman - so beware ! the Kobolds still hate us!

Lots of success this weekend, a few Smilers got their horses.

We removed a toon from our guild today for using sexually derogatory terms in guild chat - we are an LGBTQ+ friendly guild and will not tolerate any players bullying or picking on other players, period. I will not publically post the removed player's toon name here though I would like to because they are very high up on the leader board; other players should be aware of the toxic attitude when grouping with this person. I have informed the other GMs on HCL of this player's name should he try to hide out in another guild.

Got my 5000 favor - love the bone devil mount !! I could not have done it without the help of some very good DDO players who basically carried me through some of the harder quests - even though I've been playing since 06 there's lots of quests I just never do - special thanks to Miztress who was exceedingly brave and to the barbarian Jezus who knows DDO really well.

Also very special thanks to my guildie Jephthah for putting together and running a seemless VoD and Hound on HCL - well done and thanks for the favor ;)

Great run on Tuesday, April 14th with some smilers as we took down the Titan pre-raid and Raid on elite. Seven of us in the pre-raid and six for the raid. Lots of fun and zero deaths.

Many players who've achieved their HCL goals are still playing helping others to achieve theirs; one of the reasons I love HCL so much is it really illuminates how friendly and genuinely altruistic our community is - there are so many kind and considerate players in the DDO community, we are very lucky. So if you're still playing and have not achieved your goals, ask for help in the guild, likely there's someone who will help you.
