Horrible, horrible lag

This is beyond bad. Thelanis. The Missing Party quest, epic level. Between 2 and 3 pm EST. Twice everything has nearly frozen, things moving so slowly, like the game is only processing things 1 thing per minute. Happened both time in the middle of a fight. Literally just stood there for 15 minutes until it unfroze. Nearly dead.
Only thing I can think of is both time a guildie with the invisible guard cloak from Mabar got hit and it went off, froze both times at that point.

Unplayable, still stuck in the quest, hoping it will unfreeze at some point in the next 20 minutes.

Anyone else seeing this?

Basically need to wait until a patch I guess.

I should note that all buffs and anything with a countdown (including XP pots) still count down at normal rate and expire.

Finally just quit the client. Rebooted. Can't log in at all now. After putting in password it's stuck on "cleaning up old connection" and does nothing. I give up.

log into different server, all the way onto character, then exit and try logging in onto original server

I have a lot of equipment "Bound to Character", so I always need to spend a lot of time tidying up the Reincarnation cache. It takes at least 2-3 seconds to take out each piece of equipment, and frequent LAGs occur;

they should be able to be put into a Shared Account Bank, currently they seriously affect players trying new characters.
