Pretty sure it started in January.

its been running a while but it'd be nice if they'd leave the crafting stations/NPCs up a bit longer. Had several things I meant to make and woke up this morning to find id missed out.

Well it would be nice if they made the ending date easier to find. I had to look up the patch notes when it was turned on to find out. Maybe make actual use of their calendar for things like this.

I think they started Risia/Midwinter on the 29th or 30th of January so more like 2 weeks but I don't know why it didn't start as soon as Festivult ended.

Our typical event cycle is two full weekends, so it'll start on a Thursday (Wednesday in this case), then run through the weekend, the following week, the following weekend, and then get turned off that next week.

I wasn't aware there was a standard event cycle. Festivult seemed like it went on for over a month. Last Night Revels was surely longer than two weeks, wasn't it? Some events like the Champion Hunter only go for one weekend. I don't know when our last Mimic Hunt was but I'm certain it didn't last two full weeks.

Maybe we can get an encore weekend at some point? I felt like I blinked, and it was over. Maybe Christmas in July? Something to consider.

If people are into it we could definitely consider it.

I'd like an occasional "Wheel of Events" event, during those mid-schedule doldrums between Anniversary in Feb and Crystal Cove around Sept where there's no regularly-scheduled events.
Have a random return of one of the seasonal events for a week. Though I would guess Night Revels would be hard since the mats expire seasonally. But having a chance at some of those once-a-year items more than once a year would be nice, especially for newer players who may not have had a chance to acquire the items they needed yet, or dont want to have to wait a whole year to get an upgraded level version, etc.
Or hell, go crazy and turn them ALL ON AT ONCE :D :D

In previous years, the one week redux has been helpful for those with missed turn-ins ...
hmmmmm, maybe transfer it from Stormreach Harbour to Sharn Harbour during the Austral winter ?

Well technically Stormreach is austral (just barely), but Sharn is definitely boreal

Myself and my girls would appreciate an encore! :D Life is always so hectic when it's back to school time!

To be fair mabar was longer because gremlins stole ddo for 3 or 4 days, including Sat Sun, none of us could go in, this site was missing also, still wondering if the devs camped at office or if they did go home.

I feel the same way - I feel it should run from 1/14 to 2/7 and actually be a festival.

they really need to do a festival/event pass or whatever they call it - put a dev on it full time so we can have ingame seasonal activities similar to LOTRO - there's no reason why DDO should feel like a 20 year old game when its only 14 years old.
The bar should be the halloween event - that is a stellar DDO event - very fun, lots to do - there should be one for each season + a very big event for the anniversary with lots of loot and prizes and things like they give out in LOTRO, age rings for character profiles,
I mean, am I the only one who was like, they introduced horses and did not give us an anniversary mount?
