New in the anniversary event:

Brussel Sprout Beater (80 party favors): Exactly the same stats as the Broccoli Basher, except it's a Light Hammer (so it's actually worse, since it's only 1d4 instead of 1d6 and needs martial proficency). Why not make a club that is level 10 or so instead of another level 25? Was there really a great demand for gnomes single weapon fighting with light hammers against oozes?

It would have to be nice looking, most everyone is getting fort from other sources, and much better than this one.

For some reason they think that 100% fort is OP when it's actually essential to not dying. It's mandatory.

For toons that are going to take a lot of hits 100%+ Fort is mandatory. It doesn't stop elemental damage or spell damage so if that's the thing you see most often it's not mandatory. Helpful, yes, against the odd physical crit you take but not mandatory.

I was in the 100+ Fort is mandatory camp until I got a thrower out to epic levels and suddenly realized at level 23 or so that he had no fort at all and it wasn't mattering much. Yes, the thing that made me realize this was a sudden death but it was the first in many levels at that point and I hadn't had any significant fort before that point. The toon just didn't take physical damage except from archers and deflect arrows was negating most of those hits.

Grab one now since there are very few named throwers and this way, you'll at least have one for level 20 for sentience.

AH! Light Weapons are far FAR better for general use than non-light: they can be used while Swashbuckling. I'll likely farm 3-4 sprouts. I do agree that it could be better. Light Club (simple weapon for non-swash) and L20 or L21 for use during all of an ETR would improve it, but Light is a huge step up from non-light.

I'm actually very happy about this one. It is finesse-able so finally an ooze weapon suitable for rogues and swashbucklers. Low level oozes aren't that big a deal but weapons like these sure help when fighting epic and legendary oozes/gelatinous cubes. I just ran across the rare named one in epic ToEE P1 last weekend and there's also the always there one in the Water Temple. So a big THANK YOU to the devs for the Brussel Sprout Beater. I will need at least 4.

These stats are a joke, right? +11 fort save at level 30?!?!?!? And 146% fort?!?!?!? I don't know what else to say.
