Was it a hard no, or a soft probably no? Just sayin', updates could be anywhere!

I kind of figured that was the deal based on Lynnabel still actively working on loot. Oh well (not the Lynnabel part, but the delay in U45).

I have a couple of toons waiting for a TR at least!

1 - melee Alchemist
2 - Inquisitive Alchemist (maybe? someone on the test server said this plays pretty well together)
3 - nuker/thrower Alchemist - this is the oddest one for me as I have never played a pure caster like this. However, this class intrigues me!

Stay tuned. Depending on how things go we could release sometime next week, but per usual we'll lock things down as we get closer to it.

I say we take off and nuke the entire update from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Forgive me if it has been addressed previously... when the new class releases, will those of us whom have heroic completionist characters be able to get respecs? I seem to remember this happening before.

Thanks!

It is great news you still work on it. Thank you for taking the extra time for fixes/rebalancing.
I know that people are waiting for the Alchemist, but there were too many problems with preview 2. It would be probably better if we got another preview first, but still, next week (or hopefully even later) is better than this week.
Patience guys, let them work - it is better to deliver something well prepared than half-baked.

EDIT: just checked the Lammania news - thanks for the changes in U45! :) Still, take all the time you need.

I'm hearing that official channels of social media have release info, but surely that's just rumor as the forums still have no updates posted.

I'm hoping Thursday or Friday so that I can finish off this one last Inquisitive life that I wanted to knock out.

It will not be Friday as if they encounter a problem they can not fix it with them not working on a Saturday

A spellsinger bard or a caster FvS can be very fun - you should try it! Sounds like you still have time before Alchemist hits to do so :)

Yea, seems to be some sort of miscommunication going on, as the Facebook page is saying the update is coming "this week". I had assumed it would launch after the maintenance.

Twitter was the account that said this week.

An official day this week would probably be appreciated by many of us folks with schedules and stuff.
Closest i saw was a "this week" on the DDO Chronicle .

I am assuming tomorrow, but we all know where that assuming thing gets us!

You'll be able to tell. Just look at the server population. They'll lose a huge chunk of the playerbase that used to be ranged,
and there will be 5,000 alchemists trying to power it out so they can get completionist back.

At least those that didn't join the strike will.

I wish they would communicate these things on their official forum rather than in other places. It's especially confusing when dev statements contradict official twitter comments. The main source of checking for dev communication should be dev tracker here.

Do you really think there are still 5000+ players?

Agreed. While I understand utilizing other forms of communication they should not neglect their official forums. This was posted to Twitter a few minutes ago.

You can see login by class/servers online. There's over 5k on every server, though they aren't all on at once. There's going to be another quit-fest after tomorrows ranged-class-hammer.

It drops in chunks when they "fix" a class, you can compare the changes to server population charts.
