Great Bow
Features:
Only works with super high STR, does not work with auto targetting.
Chance on hit to Knockback mobs a little
Chance on critical to Knockdown
Pin on Vorpal
Some other cool synergy with Barbarian rage and Ram's might. (+30% IPS damage while raging would be extra LOL.. in reflection to u45)

An ML 20 two handed caster weapon that gives generic Potency and Insightful potency equal to what a single-element potency would be. Yes, that means you're getting every element and that's "too powerful" but it's also taking both hands and you're not going to still use it at cap, so it's about convenience rather than MOAR POWER.
Wild Magic Rune Arm
Rolls on a table of effects when it fires, and while the effect will never directly harm the user, it will be random to the point where it cant be optimized.
The effects would be a table of every spell that uses a line attack, cone attack, or ball attack.
Epic version, and heroic version. Drops randomly - added to loot table for all quests.

1 new Two Handed weapon with Metaline and Good type damage
1 new One Handed weapon with Metaline and Good type damage
1 new Large Shield with Sheltering and Shield Bash
1 new One Handed caster weapon with generic Potency and generic spell lore (which end up being significantly less than single-element numbers)
Super basic generic stats (equal to what you'd get with some generic Cannith Crafted item or "normal" lootgen), but the ML is whatever your level is and the stats on the item are appropriate for whatever that ML is.

Ring of Unknowing
The effects of this ring are hidden similar to a Mysterious Ring (maybe even alter the Mysterious Ring) but once equipped are identified (displayed) and implemented.
Effects: This ring can implement any positive or negative effects in the game once equipped.
Penalty: the ring can only be removed from the wearer once he/she rests again if in a quest or after 60 seconds in a tavern. If dawned in a public area (other than a tavern) it can only be removed if one of the two previous conditions mentioned are met.

Paladin Raid weapons, that have a way to 'upgrade' through to increasingly better versions as new content and loot itemisation continues to improve. For example, a new raid releases, I collect 1250 runes from the new raid and it upgrades my Paladin weapon by +1[W], keeping it in touch with other new loot.
I cry and die inside a little at the sight of my Sanctity and Divinity swords sat in my Bank on my Paladins*, while I heave around the evil that is Blackrazor, Soulrazor or the chaos that is Soul's Sorrow.
*Yes, Plural. Both for Characters and these beautiful weapons.

A mythic Radiance, the Holy Avenger longsword/bastard sword from the Wrath of the Righteous adventure path.
Mythic, in this context, means it's "upgradeable" as you advance in mythic tiers.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, check out Paizo's "Mythic Adventures (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/alternative-rule-systems/mythic/)" book. It's a VERY loose equivalent to WotC's "Epic Level Handbook" for D&D 3rd Edition.

So long as there is no way for someone to heal through negative energy outside from help from another class or multi-classing, there is a necessity for this weapon!
I'd much prefer a Vampire Universal enhancement tree or at the very least the Vryloka race (Having the choice to shun positive healing in favor of negative healing in their racial tree), but this weapon would be nice as well, would honestly love to see how the developers would see fit to scale this up to level 29..... from what I hear though, Legendary Affirmation is considered a mistake...... so the temporary hitpoints likely won't get too tasty in the next tier up for the soul eating effect.
Chances are you are unfamiliar with the soul eating effect I have listed here as it only ever appears on Grave Wrappings: https://ddowiki.com/page/Soul_Eating
On the bright side though, even Lynnabel named the wrong item and quest when asked if he was familiar with the Soul Eating effect so I really can't blame anyone if they too get it wrong!
Insatiable vampirism is an effect that bundles wounding and vampirism in response of the claims that both were rather weak, this bundling also makes it more appropriate for being something that can get upgraded in a raid. I'd say, have it drop in a regular quest and require many runs of a raid to get it fully upgraded at the cost of 1250 raid runes per upgrade! Personally, I'd farm enough of said weapon to have one for every level of the bastard sword, dagger, and longsword versions!
There are currently no items in game for legendary content that makes soul gems, even a sovereign vorpal weapon would be nice if when an enemy would be instantly slain by said vorpal effect they'd just become a soul gem..... collecting soul gems is just fun so I'd love to see the devs balance a legendary version of trap the soul for DDO!
So this weapon damages constitution, inflicts negative levels, and curses enemies, ultimately making enemy fortitude saves suffer with each blow. Slot a Deconstructor augment into the level 29 upgrade, slot in one against many filigree set and the shattered device filigree set and get ready to have one heck of a debuffer weapon! Though, you will need to have your Minor artifact in use as well! Imagine using this weapon while projecting your aura of menace for even more enemy debuffs! Rather than aiming for top tier DPS, this weapon aims for top tier debuffing and theft of enemy vitality with soul gems here and there as little gifts :)
The thing is though, this kind of weapon would be sought after by iconic heroes being that the base version is a minimum level 15. More weapons could be designed to share the upgrade process I thought of for this weapon.
I really do crave to taste the fun this weapon could bring!
The theme of this weapon: Greed Of A Sinister Nature
Vrylokian Bastard Sword Bastard Sword
Minimum Level: 15
Trap The Soul:This weapon stores an overwhelming, merciless power deep within. When this weapon is used, this power occasionally comes to the surface, sucking out the life force of an enemy and imprisoning the essence of their body and soul in a gem.
Soul Eating: On a Vorpal strike, the dark energy that inhabits this weapon will tear at the soul of your foe, inflicting 1d3 negative levels to your target. The Soul Eating weapon will feed this stolen life back to you in the form of 35 temporary hit points that last for one minute or until depleted by incoming damage.
Insatiable Vampirism 2: This weapon is so bloodthirsty that it not only drains life on hit, but it does so at a little extra cost to the target (Vampirism 2 effect and 2 Constitution damage on each hit)
Improved Cursespewing: Effect: On a natural 20 attack roll, this weapon lashes out with a vengeful curse that confers a -4 morale penalty on attack rolls, damage rolls, saving throws, and skill checks. This agonizing curse also causes the victim to take 2 to 12 damage every two seconds for a duration of twelve seconds.
Room for improvement: This weapon contains strange notches in it at certain points and can be taken to a blacksmith and shortened for to gain the stats and form of a dagger or longsword, though if this weapon is upgraded to level 20, the ability to make this conversion will be lost. By spending raid runes, this weapon can be upgraded from minimum level 15 version to a minimum level 20, 25, and 29 version!

I want to see orbs hover above the upturned hand of the user, and have the tome shaped orbs do the same but as open books. Like the animation used for reading skill and stat tomes. Would be nice to have spell caster sticks have some cool fx for them. Nearly every caster stick in the game looks more like a mace than a scepter. I have always thought that they should lean more towards a staff visually (think a 1/3 shorter) than a mace. Anything to make my wizzy look more like a traditional magic user.

A real Holy Avenger
Something that only works in the hands of a Paladin, does massive damage to CE outsiders, holy, metalline, grants 50%mr against evil outsiders, and is automatically sentient with a unique sentient jewel that cannot be removed.
Obviously this would be an end game Paladin weapon. Yes, it would be hands down bis for a Paladin weapon. But all high level Paladins in D&D had a Holy Avenger that was their only melee weapon. Most were artifacts that required you to *only* wield that weapon. or risk angering the artifact. IIRC Crusader from The Mines of Bloodstone required the Paladin to give up all other weapons.

That is true anyhow. That is also the real problem we have. When players ask for a warrior they ask for a real though, endurable, fast and storng guy. When ask for a Vampire they ask for a really powerfull vampire like Strahd but also have insane weaknesses to other simple effects (such as silver, light) which should not be avoided through buffs and items.
(Same issue: Some players asked for better healing for Palemasters at Reaper. Developers found that it is only possible through applying positive healing to them. Players; I dont know why ?...asked for Palemaster getting no damage from Light effects (!) under undead shroud form...which is ridiclous. Developers helped the reaper players and whoelse and I dont know their percentage aswell... Palemasters now would not get extra damage from Light under Undead shroud form)
If I dont get confused about earlier posts of Lokeal he/she was allways asking for Vampires and Succubus type of beings introduced as original races and original classes introduced for those type of creatures at fantasy roleplay books. (Please correct me if I missunderstood)
By means of survival player seeked for the most powerfull multiclass combinations and then stronger class abilities and tree abilities created extremely strong results for only a couple of styles in the game. But before, the classes were not as strong and mutliclassing did not end up with extremes. In time this changed, to bad.
Now people ask for the original, non exegarated classes and races (I know it sounds silly when the opposite was asked for a long time. Both we and the devs know it) that have unique strengths and unique weaknesses; without any of them dominating the other unless the true conditions are created.
All these alternative builds over class and race combinations should be able to compete equally but by using alternative ways to reach the goals. (When a player tests a build finds out 2-3 picks reaching the goals very easy and rest of those hundred builds fail epically at the same quests and same adventures he/she feels down. Becasue it is boring to play with the same builds and roleplay options; especially the player logs in and play pretty often)
Example: I find Ranged and evasion very powerfull (only if) with the right tools given to the character. For continious healing and fighting I find palemaster very powerfull aswell. For positive healing Favored soul or Insane gameplay Warlock... Similar builds give a balanced offensive and defensive option to run the game 'fluently'.
Anyhow there is no alternatives to these handfull of options (yet).
After a long explanation:
The weapon Lokeal is speaking about is actually a mimic for the true desire of a True Vampire race with its own strengths and weaknesses. Yes it is about roleplay as many of us nerds do. (Not a Necromancer who is imitating undead through necromantic spells)
As I have stated earlier players (we roleplay nerds) want more alternatives and options to reach at the same virtual goals through playing another character.
Are we giving headaches to the developers ? (I am sure their job is nowhere easy) Absolutely we do. Also I am sure they get us since we are all nerds; either developing or playing the game. :p
I wish all of you a good time. My humble n3rd pieces of eight.

Wizard 20. Lots of negative energy healing in there.
Let me rephrase that, you can't heal through negative energy without being the ONLY class that offers such.
Pretty sure you knew what I meant..........
Anyhow, when the day comes that I can be a pure fighter class build and heal through negative energy rather than positive without anyone's help, that will be enough to allow me to enjoy getting the rest of my class reincarnations. Right now I am working on racial reincarnations playing only artificer for that aim.
The two best classes right now in my opinion are artificer, and wizard.
After what late turbine and early SSG did to my Azimoph character.... multi-classing on a character I am serious about is not an option! What happened to that character was a nightmare, still have yet to undo the damages as he is too hard to level and I am not going to pay for a +20 lesser heart of wood to fix something I had no power over preventing other than if I had abstained from multiclassing from the start!
I would actually use a feat slot on healing through negative energy if DDO would offer one, I'd additionally even agree to completely forsake positive healing as the shrouds not doing the same there makes their healing options over-powered!
A universal tree for vampire with an enemy life drain aura SLA (Works kinda like death aura but only works when near living enemies that have blood so would not work on undead, constructs, elementals, or oozes), choice of dexterity or charisma to hit and damage, and a negative energy version of ameliorating strikes would be really nice! Because of Succubus lore (if someone survives a draining kiss from a succubus they can become a true vampire), you could also put a Pale master Skeletal knight type summon for a Succubus. This would have some pretty good synergy with Sorcerer and Warlock builds as well as some pretty good synergy with favored soul builds. This tree could also thematically have a few debuffs on it such as cursespewing, constitution damage, and negative levels on vorpal strikes. So much fun and flavor. Unfortunately there are a few trees such as Knight Of The Chalice and Vistani Knife fighter that would weaken a vampire tree build through reducing negative healing effectiveness in which let's face it, could help balance such a tree. If this kind of tree were to come into being, the first three builds you'd see using it would be Alchemists Sorcerers and Warlocks.

Kind of like an orb, but not requiring magical training to use!
You could give it a hidden effect that only appears when equipped by a shadar-kai that would imbue the Shadar-Kai chain attack with Vampirism 4 and Improved Cursespewing.
People would be doing chain attack builds and thus flooding the forums with commentary on the chain attack so it could finally get the attention it deserves for improvement purposes.

Yeah that's what I meant - the use of negative or dark space as carrying the effect I always thought was interesting. Seeing dark energy crackling around our hands (or weapons) would be pretty cool.
Sunspot (Marvel) is a good example of a character with a lot of Kirby krackle used in various ways.
Translating that faithfully to 3D animation, though, is an exercise left to the reader...er, the art team :)

A returning lump of coal that does morale damage.
A festival twig that does an absolutely tiny amount of damage ... I mean *really* tiny ... like 1 or 2 points, nothing more ... but puncturing, bludgeoning and slashing damage at the same time ... (The ends of the twig do puncturing damage, the bigger parts of it do bludgeoning damage, the more elongated and slender parts of it do slashing damage ...).
An Everbright melee weapon which does a HUGE light (not lightning !) against Undead ones - like a fireball, but entirely consisting of light ... like the flash of a real life photographing device.
A weapon which displaces the monster onto a different plane. Only a will save (or something similar) can bring it back.
It would almost *look* like Vorpal, only that the monster suddenly finds himself/herself/itself suddenly in another plane. Like Azure Sky for Vampires, for example. Risia for Fire Elementals etc ... .
It would even be freakier if such a weapon does the same with *my own* character ...

Noone believed it was not me posting about a returning beer mug.....
(although refilling would have been better)

I did figure out how to do this - Fetters of the Forgewraith does it with the bright Forgewraith flame. If you could pick a cool visual effect above all else, your #1 choice, what would it be?

How about putting fletching on gloves or even just on anything outside of enhancements? The way this ability stacks and they way we go through arrows/bolts, It doesn't seem like it could get out of hand. I don't know about most people but I tend to leave that stuff in the chest because 20 attacks of some special munitions is more trouble then its worth to manage.
There are currently only 2 sources of Fletching the mechanic tree 4th tier ability called Fletching and a 2nd tier ability called Meticulous Weaponry from the falconry tree. I like the idea of making all those arrows that I find a little more useful but I'd like more potential sources.

I see a barbarian with a permanent stoneskin, a fire druid that is able to fly, a dame that is able to cast invisibility and... a warlock?

Certainly over-DDO-specific, but I'd like silver Vorpal longswords of the Rebel with at least one augment slot.
Otherwise, well -- spears.

A repeating crossbow that actually silent please...please....I'm begging..
This. Oh so this. Better that you could cosmetic it and turn any of your repeaters silent. Your whole party would be grateful.

Description: A small seed when thrown at target attaches itself and immediately begins burrowing into it's victim. The seed then spawns from within the target into multiple plant like tentacles that tear through the victims skin to escape its confines. Nearby enemy can save versus the advancing tentacles with a successful DEX + reflex saving roll. If not they take 2d10 +2 of damage per caster level.
Weapon Type: Dart
Effect: Tentacles spawn within 3-5 seconds of a successful hit.
Damage to Target: None immediately, however once the seed spawns the target takes 1d8 + 1 damage per caster level until death.
Saving Throw: TBD but would suggest a successful fortitude save + something else to stop the seed from spawning.
Damage to Nearby Friends: 2d10 +2 of damage per caster level versus advancing tentacles.
Saving Throw: successful DEX + reflex saving roll

- A thing which looks like a bow with *several* strings which can be used *both* as a bow *and* a bard`s "guitar" ... - "Can be used as a bard's guitar, too !"

so basically a guitar of head bashing...cool
Rapid fire eternal wand of grease with X2 area effect.
Grease spell, one of the last true party 'buffs'.
I remember in PnP when ALL elemental attack spells hurt ANYONE in the blast radius :-P
That is why rogues learn to evade ...

i would like a rune-arm that gives prr based on the charge tier comparable to shields and at tier 5 comparable to having shield mastery feats. when discharged gives a very short range knock down/stun devs choice. sonic dmg seems appropiate. i feel that it would thematically appropriate. as a restriction have it reduce ranged power/double shot, or give strike thru and double strike.

A magic two handed hammer (Maul), that can transform into other weapons:
(Requires super high STR to equip and some UMD to use the transform clicky on it?)
Options:
* Greatsword
* Greataxe
* Two Handed Heavy Pick ( yeah I know...)

Although ... It looks rather like a Sitar ... ;)
Personally, I had rather something like a Mandolin or Ukulele in mind ...

Rod of Lordly Might - transformable between Flametongue sword, vorpal axe , and a battering maul.
In D&D since 1e.

An Epic Experience item/augment. That gives 10-15-20-25% more experience. Eg: upgraded voice/cloak of the master.
I bet every man/women/child/cat/dog that plays this game will have/want one.

Me?
I want a Great club that looks exactly like a shovel.
:-)
Back in my pnpaper days I played a Paladin, who turned into a Blackguard in Freeport, since he was utterly lost within corrupted institutions. We had to get onto a ship and the guard was playing him harshly. After he provoked, denied and trolled him to his limits that Paladin drew his only weapon out of his backpack at that time, which was a shovel. He then smote that obviously evil guard and decapitated him by kicking down the shovel set on his neck.
A new Blackguard was born. And a new tactical maneuver. The shovel maneuver. I would very much like to have that cosmetic or weapon on all of my Paladins ;).

Now that DDO has crabs...
Crabby Patty.
A buckler made of Meat, which emits Troglodyte-like stench (no effect on self and allies) and has a chance to cast Dominate on any Vermin-type monster which hits it. Hyenas are immune to the stench and aggro on the wielder.

Plain ol' Greatasword. Nothing more nothing less, except it can be wielded in one hand and dual wielded.
Also needs to be much bigger than whatever the biggest weapon in the game currently is and never outclassed in size thereafter.
Description should read 'Especially deadly from behind'.

More ooze beating options to use between Muck Bane and Broccoli Bashers. It's not fun using a Harbor reward at level 24.
Not all of us have crafting level 250.

Symbios.
Two blades. When wielded by two different toons
1) any damage to one is halved between the two
2) any healing is likewise halved between them
note that it would allow for remote healing.
Not a weapon, but would love to see an augment that could be slotted to random loot with an augment slot.
It would allow the random loot item to be fed to a sentient weapon.
