Remember when things like Mortal Fear and the Paladin Class were too OP and HAD to be nerfed? Had these things just remained in the game as-is, they would not be OP today in light of power creep and the new shinny things, including new races, classes, ED trees, etc. Just put your nerf hammer away and focus on things that will make the game more fun. Most of these nerfs are making players upset, and may drive some of them away from the game. What purpose does that serve? Thank you :)

Classes suddenly being overpowered happens all of the time in all games. Nothing new here. ;)

lets put this in proper context. Mortal Fear became a "problem" for DDO because of how quickly a feature which was not intended to be earned so quickly or in the manner in which it was earned.
On your other point about OP paladin class - you will need to forgive most of the player base for not remembering, it didn't last very long, but I will admit the cries of the player base over it was wonderful music to my ears :) even if it was but a very short time frame. It was just the idea the OP and Paladin came in the same breath :).

MF was actually OP because it was a completely novel mechanic, and it negated being able to increase difficulty by making mobs giant hp sacks. It scaled your effective dps with their hp, so it would always take the same time to whittle them down, in any difficulty. That's why it was negated in Legendary, where monsters are designed to have a buttload of hp.
That's different than the linear balance nerfs being implemented now. That was fixing the WAY that players could do damage...this is just saying players do too much.
