That surprises me! The horns seem to be the cause for tieflings, as the front of the face geometry is extended. The hardcore eyes are projected at a distance from the face... like bushy eyebrows.

Likewise tieflings with the "bob and bangs" store hair style don't actually get the bangs. The horns... are the bangs. Honestly this is probably for the best, just not sure if it's WAI.

While on the subject of invisible tiefling geometry, some tieflings without any jewelry can gain horn earings when STONESKIN is activated.



Small bugs I know. But the hardcore cosmetic eyes really should work on all races.

Sorry guys, that was HC league, it was months ago and you already paid for it. Stay tuned for exciting new $$$HC season two content, with $$$new cosmetics that won't work and $$$devilish power boosts that probably won't either.

By the way, I heard the HC cosmetic distracted someone near a merchant and disrupted their limited ability to target the merchant, so your cosmetic will soon not work near merchants as well as not working on most races. Also, it turns that when it does work on certain races, it's overperforming compared to the races it doesn't work on, so right when they kick on HC season two they're going to nerf your cosmetic to be fair to people who don't want to wear them or can't. Total coincidence that they'll be selling a new batch of cosmetics at the same time. Get hyped though, you can grind the new set of cosmetics without exploiting guild resists and the boarding pass you paid $120 for. Fair play means more deaths means more $$$, fun for everyone! Good luck, and remember to stock up on AS, XP pots, cakes, tomes, gold rolls and such, at full price, to help you earn fabulous cosmetic prizes (that probably won't work).

On the bright side, SSG will actually give you HC guys enough server resources that you won't have to deal with lag 80% of the time you're playing, so that's nice.

Great to see this is getting fixed. Are you also fixing the HC cosmetic cloaks? The one that's supposed to be just two scarf-like strips is a solid red cloak on some characters. (I know that's the case for female dragonborn, but forget who else I'm always toggling it off on.)

It's also solid when under any texture-changing effect like stoneskin or barkskin, but that's probably harder to fix.

Thanks for fixing the female Tiefling!

Still looking for the fix to all the female elf types (Sun Elf, Drow Elf, etc.) which worked initially, but then stopped working. No idea why...

Can we get an ETA, please?

I've tested the tiefling with hardcore eyes, and the placement is still different than it is on other races' faces, at least with my particular tiefling face shape (sort of obscures the eyes rather than drip below them). Tieflings are one race whose facial geometry is very variable depending on the nose type, so I'd guess that some face shapes work quite well with the current eye placement.

Regardless, this is certainly an improvement! They no longer float in front of my face like a ghostly pair of bushy eyebrows.

And with all of the chaos that comes with releasing a new update... I'm not sure cosmetic eye placement will be their *top* priority.

If they want H/C2 to be as successful as H/C1 they need to make sure the dangling carrots don't evaporate when you touch them.

Edit: and just for the record, and so they're all in one place, Halfling females still don't display the eyes at all.
