Good afternoon DDO

I just started playing DDO in October 2019 on Cannith server. I have 3 past lives so far and play the game about 3-4 hours daily.

Unfortunately for myself and DDO I am about to stop investing money in the game and move on to other games.

My class that I am currently playing is a Mech Rogue Gxbow and its main DPS skill "time bomb" does not work as displayed.

There has been bug feedback on the forums for this skill for two years and it has not been fixed. Yet DDO is able to make an entirely new complex Alchemist class without bugs.

I am frankly about to leave the game knowing that a game breaking bug that affects my daily gameplay has not been fixed in two years while other new content without bugs is released.

I am not going to put any more money into DDO if it makes mistakes that affect my gameplay and has been given feedback on those mistakes/bugs for 2 YEARS and it is not resolved.

Imagine If I was a car mechanic and you came to me to fix your car A/C and I told you I would fix it in 2 years. You would leave immediaetly and find another mechanic right?

I need this bug to be fixed immediately because why should I pay money to a game that delivers me a defective product?

After 2 years of nice feedback, the time for nice feedback is frankly gone and consequences need to be instituted.

Please let me know what DDO has planned to fix this 2 year old game breaking bug. If you guys fix the bug promptly I will have no reason to leave DDO.

I agree that they should put more emphasis on issues like this.

However, only 2 years for one enhancement not working isn't nearly as bad as it gets. There are worse that have been around longer.

You think Alchemist isn't going to have any bugs?

Just curious - what is this "game breaking bug"?

And for what it's worth, pretty sure a Mech's "main DPS skill" revolves around using a Great Crossbow. Lots of Mech builds don't even bother w/ Time Bomb, finding better uses for 6 AP out there.*

(* 3 AP in TB, +3 more invested in "Trap Bonus" enhancements, which is a large part of the ST's for that.)

Go ahead and level a Mech Rogue to Level 12. Unlock Time bomb. And tell me how much you enjoy your biggest DPS skill not working half the time you press its allocated button.
Every class uses a weapon thats no excuse or replacement for the class skills you spend AP on not working. Every skill on that enhancement tree needs to work as intended. Thats what you pay for!

Any mech not using time bomb is loosing on DPS period. Its a massive AOE damage attack that instakills everything in sight and is the most powerful skill a mech rogue has. And it doenst work as intended often times I will use it on a mob and it wont take off any damage or it might kill one or two but not all the mobs in its range even though it just worked on the same mob the last time i did the quest.

The difference it would make for mech rogue if that skill worked as intended would be night and day. Idk if alch will have bugs, but if it did I wouldnt wait 2 years for them to fix it. Nah, my money will go to games that fix their bugs and are organized and professional.

You act like I haven't.

TB has a known bug on uneven floors/terrain - mobs that are noticeably higher/lower than ground-zero are not effected. Unfortunate, but that's part of using that special ability.

But hardly "game breaking" imo. You just have to be aware of it and compensate.

Good luck with that. Lemme know when you find one that's significantly better as a whole, product + service, than DDO. ;)

I have a list i'll send you. You might need to upgrade your computer though if you want to run em ;)

As a Mech Rogue player who likes and wants to use the ability TB, it is a disservice to a paying customer to not fix something that many other Mech rogues have been complaining is a BUG in the game for 2 years. My DPS is significantly higher when TB works everytime I use it.

It doesnt need to crash the game for it be fixed or considered a bug.
I cant compensate for a loss in DPS when there is nothing to replace the move with. There isn't another skill to replace it with.

I would love to stay with this game its fun and engaging and it has the nicest community I have ever seen.
Which is why I want this fixed.
