I'd go with definitely not. I do not wear mine at all, so could not tell you. That sounds like a visual problem, enough to relog and fix. If that doesn't happen you can correctly report it. It could be a race thing /shrug.

I've heard of this happening and the player claimed others saw his sash appear as thus as well. We never did get together so he could show me.

The sash is a full cloak, it just has an invisible section, so this is more of a coloring error than anything. Stoneskin,and similar will force the entire cloak to show, so maybe this is a holdover like weapons picking up an EKs ghost touch.

It was like that when I logged on, no buffs, no nothing. Another guild member saw it looking like that as well, even after I had removed and re-equipped it.
