I ran into this issue last life and thought I had broken the chain somehow by taking all the quests at once rather than one at a time. This time, I ran them one at a time, speaking to Alynda (the primary quest giver for the Soul Survivor set) for the next quest in the chain. I have the same problem.

All quests are completed, in the correct order, and when I talk to Alynda she gives the dialogue box thanking me for my assistance. The only option to select is, "What's next?"

Then dialogue box closes and she gives an over-the-head statement of, "I'm sorry, Magnifique, I missed that. Talk to me again and we'll catch up." Then, when I talk to her again we are back to the initial dialogue box thanking me for saving the warforged, etc."

I didn't find anyone else with this problem- at least not in the forums- and my guildies and I couldn't figure it out.
The Quest Journal states the "Soul Splitter" and "Soul Splitter: Soul Survivor" quests are open and that I should talk to Alynda.

All the quest givers in the arc have the blue cups over their head.
Alynda has the gold cup with a checkmark over her head. I don't think it's a procedural snag because I was careful to run the quests in order, one at a time, this life rather than grab them all as I had last life.

Ideas?

Ideas?
Abandon the quest "Soul Splitter: Soul Survivor", talk to her again.

It happened to me, and several other people in my party when we ran it.
I assume they are aware and it will be fixed in next update.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot.
Much appreciated.

I dont want to offend anyone here, but what does it matter. The chain reward is just worthless rng junk anyway.

Not worth the time it takes to collect it imo.

Well, maybe not for you, but for other folks like myself, that 'trash' adds up over time and can be turned in to much useful stuff (crafting points, money, etc.)

And to the OP (and devs) , yep this happened to me as well. End (story arc) quest giver just says, "Talk to me later" after completing the chain.

(Puts on tin foil hat - only happens to flagged accounts that aren't ever supposed to get good treasure rolls... ;))

LOL. I was with you on the treasure conundrum. I think the flag reset recently for me though; I've started getting a named item now and then on solo runs.
I've been running racials and TR'ing at 20. It might have clicked the oft-missed flag reset for eternal ransack.

As for the end quest reward: Abandoning the "Soul Survivor" quest turned the trick. I was able to collect my 500 guild renown. I'd say that was worth the trouble.

All good and much appreciated for the input from one and all.

A similar thing happened to me. The first thing I ever ran was Soul Survivor, and I did so without taking the arc. Ever since then I have to abandon the arc itself to get the arc end reward, crazy as that sounds. That chain is super flakey.

I have the same issue for this quest at exactly the same stage. Same dialog option with same response.
I opened a ticket about 1 week ago. Their response was: it will take some time to investigate.

This worked for me. Thanks!

Also, the "worthless rng junk" I selected was a Legendary Victory token for Guild Renown--not worthless to all players (my guild just broke Level 100 yesterday).
