Last Run to Level 20

I wasn't able to get any characters to Level 20 on the server. We do have several days left before the shutdown, so I wanted to see if anyone wanted to group for a final run from Level 1 to Level 20. I have time to do this from Wednesday evening to Friday evening if there is interest (I am on a flexible work schedule).

I didn't make it to Level 20 on my new character, but I did reach Level 18 without dying. If I just had several more hours tonight, I could have done it. Too bad my other two characters died due to carelessness on my part and that I didn't have more time to sink into Hardcore League. Maybe next season. :)

I'm sorry you didn't make it. I spent the last few hours the server was up trying to help a couple of people across the finish line to 20. Unfortunately, I don't think they quite made it either. Still it was a lot of fun and the camaraderie was great. I already can't wait for next season.

My husband and I managed to make it this week (Wednesday I think), though he had another character make it too. We both really enjoyed the experience and playing in a different way. My first character died at level 5 (holding 6) - it was quite shocking which is what made it feel so different from normal DDO. I had another character who was doing all quests on elite solo who got to level 11 and over 800 favour who was also fun to play.

I do wonder though whether it will make me play differently on normal DDO...

The Hardcore League definitely put an edge on older content, especially lower level content. Normally, experienced players can just sleepwalk through low level quests but the permadeath ruleset made this much more difficult to do.
