View Full Version : An humble revamp for passive damage type attacks at enhancement trees

Hi this is an humble suggestion about a revamp for the passive damage type attacks at enhancement trees.



The active clickies are too distracting and I am sure only a few players use more than a couple of (even that is too dull. Even a good wizard player picks DOTs over active spell attacks) active attacks when we consider the classes, universal trees, feats, multi classing and Epic destiny active feats.

Damage and special effects shall be achieved as additional passive effects instead of tens of active buttons.



There are various effects such as Assasin Venomed blades, Occult slayer Kinetic bond, Eldricht knight Spellsword, Warchanter Iced edges and many more.

I believe it would add older class trees to compete with this age of gaming if damage dice was improved with character level. To hit bonus was improved with character level.

Additionally trees such as Assasin tree has Venomed blades, shadow dagger and Bleed them out. Could these be packed under one enhancement. Each upgarde gives new specail effect to the passive damage/effect dealt.

Same for Occult slayer Kinetic bond, Vicious strike, Arcane encumbrance could be under same enhancement which would upgrade through levels and would add extra effects.

Eldricht Knight Spellsword could be improved with Spellpower aswell as adding Vulnerability to chosen type of elemental damage as the enhancement is upgraded through the tree.
