We get free transfers from the HardCore League Season one server at the end of the 90 days (Nov 15).

Obviously, some players will return their toons to their favorite guild...however others really like the atmosphere here.

During the first week, I heard several people say "We ought to all transfer to the same world.
Which made me think, there ought to be a poll: "Which server should we transfer to?
(looking for the "make a poll button right now" and not finding it)

Which world do you think would be best choice if all the players choose the same world?

on another note:

Also, I received numerous requests of "does Fawngate have a guild on another world and can I join it?"

After many such requests, I have formulated a special invitation for everyone who joined the Open Guild for All, Open Guild for All Two, or the channel openguild:

Fawngate on Khyber is the leader of an almost empty guild. (we have full ship buffs)

If you happen to transfer or have a toon on Khyber during/after this event is over, just mail Fawngate a request/hello, and she will mail you an invite to her guild.
the guild name is in latin and it is
EVOCATI AUGUSTI

EDIT: and she has just mailed out the first HCL invitation.

just to be sure, you are Fawngate, right? I might be a bit confused because you are referring to your character in third person.. ?
The open guild service/resources that you provided to the hardcore league community were very generous - so I do hope that people take you up on your offer to join the EVOCATI AUGUSTI on Khyber. You should make sure that Cordovan makes that offer available in the DDO Chronicle in the weeks leading up to the league closing down in November.

one of the main draws for the hardcore league server is that it combined incoming player populations from all other servers, making it very active with many lfm's and players to group with at all times.

but at the end of the hardcore league event, if a majority of the players were to choose a single server to exodus into, I would recommend Wayfinder. It has a severe low population to be sure, but I feel like the economy of wayfinder would be conducive to players wanting to continue a house-rules permadeath experience.

.. alternately, do you not think that based on the success/popularity of the hardcore league server, that they should make ALL the servers permadeath? They could offer a free "opt-out" option to any player not interested in permadeath to transfer to Wayfinder, the only server that would not be permadeath.

Frankly, I have no desire to move my characters. So were they to make all servers but one permadeath, and my server was not that one, it would be the end of DDO for me.

If you see toons with:
Fawngate
Fawngale
Fawnglow
Fawnbank

It is me, Silver.

Thank you.

I agree, the HCL server feels a bit like the interserver atmosphere of Lamania along with the enthusiasm of days gone by.

The population really helps make the hardcore challenge more special.

Wayfinder used to be the permadeath server of choice for a Khyber player based group making a guild there.
Even some Devs expressed interest in teaming up at the time that occurred.
Perhaps a bit of that rubbed off (along with other posts and such) and gave them the idea of doing the hardcore league.

Khyber is another good option, because it has a high amount of pick up groups going on as that is their modus operando.

LOL...
That would certainly get everyone's attention.

Perhaps they could sell virtual quarters for an "extra life"?

Seriously, though, it would be one way to get everyone to transfer over to a single server.
Not a bad idea when one thinks about it...
I would hate to be the moderator the week this was announced ;0

With the HCL opening up for banking and transfer after the leader board is tallied up, a lot of people will be transferring items and plat to a few toons and transferring these to the sever where their main toon(s) are located for loot deposit.

Other toons will go down with the airship.

Both are completely understandable.
Well wishes to all, I just want to offer a home to those who do not have one for their transferring toons!

I just hit 20 on my fvs, and while I liked getting him there, he's **** compared to my real Orien characters. His job is to get hardcore rewards (which he did), load up his inventory with anything of use, and then become a storage character.

Side note, SSG should make all HC-transferred characters taller than triple-TR people, that'd be awesome.
