Elemental Forms

As the title says. I can't see nothing through them... All my cosmetic are gone. I'm actually big fan of all these elemental forms. Really like the idea. But I feel like they are little bit outdated. The windy one is awesome, no question there. Don't remember the acid form. Fire and water just not good. I wish we still had fire/water form visible but in a lower tone. Still so that I and other people can see them well. But at the same time they can see how is my character actually look like. So that people can see what color is my hair and if I have a robe or plate or whatever.

I wouldn't posting about it since I thought I'm the only rtrd with such a problem then I had a lot of ppl having the same problem. I don't think it would be big task to take a look at it. And while we at it, cosmetics are very buggy sometimes. For example, when I had green sparkles on my pet I couldn't see them but other people could. Sometimes, If I have my fire elemental form and my stone skin disappears I can no longer see my fire elemental form but others can. And so on...

Another suggestion I would like to point out are rewards in chests. People usually ignore opening chests completely. I feel like I'm always the only crazy guy who goes to loot a chest. Whichever chest, doesn't matter except in dungeons where ppl look for named loot. Other than that, chest are just waste of inventory space. Waste of time. Nobody cares, cause there is nothing in them. I don't know. I'm usually very excited to loot chests in lower levels but when I hit the mid level I don't care at all. I wish there were something in them we could collect and be happy about it and cheer about it.

Elemental Forms

Druid already has a feature that lets you disable the visuals of it's fire/water elemental forms, just make sorc ele forms autogrant that ability too.

Lootz

I feel like adding a small chance to get the quests normal named loot from optional chests would go a long way to making them looted more, at least for the chests/optionals that are off the beaten path or behind a lock or combat encounter, not every chest needs to work like search and rescue drow opt where it has it's own unique items but just adding a small chance to roll off the normal named loot table would be nice. If a chest drops named loot 33% of the time on Elite give any optional chests off the beaten path 7-10% chance for loot (with the Really hard to get ones (again search and rescue) having the full 33%).

The only a few optional chests worth getting that drop named items. Those in ToEE due to them dropping named loot at a higher rate than the end chests. The other optional chest that drop named loot are mostly outdated with exception of a few in Ravenloft. Slave Lords will remain worth doing the optional chest for crafting materials for some time. Sharn optional chests also provide materials, but not worth going too far out of your way to get them. The Black Dragon optional in Epic Tor is still useful for Globe of True Imperial Blood.

If you dont like the elemental graphics, cast stone skin, when stones skin wears off (like from entering a quest) you will not look elemental anymore.

I think Lynnabel said something about the old elemental forms (AKA your hands take an elemental effect, but your body is still human) are still around. Maybe sometime in the future, when they change the sorc tree (it's been AGES, you know) they could add the old graphics.

In the meantime, yes, cast camouflage or stone skin from a scroll, enter the quest and enjoy your well paid cosmetics :)

The problem is, it's only me who can see my cosmetics. Other players see me in fire elemental form.
