Pathing is so broken that it drove Elminster to commit suicide. He ran off the first ledge he came to in Beyond the Rift. RIP buddy. Ye will be missed.

Pathing is so broken that starting next update, all characters entering any quest will be given a large stack of torches and instructed to place them along their route so the monsters can find them. Intentionally leading the monsters into lava or traps will result in an experience penalty or possibly a bonus, depending on your daily dice roll of the day.
In additions, all Champions will gain "Omnisniffience" except for Champion Troglodytes as that would cause them to go insane and self-identify as mushrooms.
