I just did a true reincarnation. However, when I talked to Jeets and selected the "Skip Korthos" option, he did not allow me to skip Korthos. After logging out both on the anchor and off, logging back in and trying again, quitting the client for half of an hour, trying again, nothing works. I then attempted the not-skipping-Korthos option, and Jeets was responsive. However, after trying the grotto quest three times where Jeets and Talbron kept deciding to run themselves into a wall and not do anything else, I have to give up. What can be done to salvage this situation? I am also concerned because there is no way for me to check the TR cache, and if the reincarnation process is this buggy, I am worried about the cache.

Them getting stuck is a result of the ongoing mob pathing issues. https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/508651-Monster-pathing-issue-back-again It looks like they're trying for another patch this week; hopefully that fixes it & if not, pathing seems to do better for a few days after each server reboot.

Yeah, more than once I've mis-clicked on a 100-Favor run and wish I could go back and abort out of that quest. Oh well...
Try NOT running ahead of the NPC's, but, as soon as you kill the first guard and pull the Rusty Lever, running back to them and, very gradually, walking WITH them thru the tunnels. That seemed the least-fail approach (but not guaranteed).
Keep trying - you'll see immediately if it's working or not. If not, try again. Good Luck.

Follow up...
Yeah, I just ran Shipwreck Shore as I described above, and it went smoothly.
When you pull the first ("rusty") lever, run back to the NPC group and get behind them, and just follow them (instead of zerging ahead to where you know the quest will lead). There are pre-set "waiting" points where the NPCs stop and wait for you to catch up - there seem to be no pathing issues to these points, so just be patient, stay in back, repeat as you go along, and all should be good.
Again, GL!
