does Divine Power give + attack speed?

Base Attack Bonus give attack speed, Divine Power give + Base Attack Bonus but when i use it on my fvs inq i dont really feel attacking any faster. anyone know why?

You get extra/faster attacks based off the BAB, but only at certain points... fvs iirc have 3/4 BAB progression so there won't be as noticeable a difference increasing to full BAB vs. eg. a wizard with tensers or knight's transformation going up from 1/2 BAB.

Every 5 BAB gives better attack speed for melee and every singular BAB for ranged. It matters.
