Death Follow you: client side alternative?

Okay so, as I understand because the bloody footstep are dynamic, having it client side would be too cumbersome and atm is client side for your eyes only.

Alternative:
the "Expeditious Retreat" spell has a client side effect that everyone can see, that is already implemented in game. Would it be feasible (asking devs here) to re-purpose it, change the yellow glow to red, and if you toggle it on, other people see a red version of "expeditious retreat" (but keep the bloody footprint only for yourself?)

It wouldn't be as impressive, but it will be at least a visual cue of your achievements for others to see.

Could really care less, would prefer them working on a fix to this AI pathing issue that's probably also the cause of the server lag thats been happening lately too.

We are continuing to look into AI pathing in addition to looking to see if there is something we can do with the Death Follows You effect.
