Was thinking of maybe adding turn undead to my repetoire of actions i could perform but with a 20h/10e Artificer not sure its worth it. I can get my charisma to around 52, have the dawn-hearlded charm but no levels of cleric/pally. If i did try to use turn undead on epic elite or reaper for which i usually play, would it do anything or be a complete waste of time? I like the added dmg bonus of the bane of undeath twist but hoping for a little more if feasable and not destroying my current arti build, thanks!

Not worth it. Turn doesn't scale well into EE/reaper even on a cleric specced and geared for it. Perhaps some of the clerics running around with 110+ charisma at lvl 30 have a different experience, but I couldn't get it to ever land in low-level EE with a charisma in the high 70s and all of the enhancements and gear I could get at the time. There are some new sentient filigrees that boost your turn DCs that I haven't tried yet, but a) I doubt you want those on your arty instead of something more useful and b) I doubt it's enough with "only" 52 CHA.

I'll note that one thing I've never tried but would like to someday is to run a light-specced Morninglord Elf cleric (or maybe with warlock/FVS), which has a racial enhancement that does no-save 18d6 light damage when a turn is used. No idea if that scales with spellpower, however.

If you're specced for electric spellpower and have the fate points for a tier 2 twist slot instead, consider Reign from Fatesinger if you don't already have it.

Thanks so much for your insight!

Literally the only builds I can remember using Bane of Undeath were the old paladin 2 dips before Divine Grace was nerfed. BoU let you use Divine Might from KotC tree. Fighter 12 / monk 6 / paladin 2 was probably the most common split back then.

Outside of Bladeforged ITRs there's not much reason to run that sort of split anymore.
