Coal Chamber is one of my favorite quests in DDO.

My at-level reaper 1 solo speedrun record is 19 minutes and 20 seconds, btw. If you think you can do better, time-wise, please let me know and I'll think of some suitable reward.



Had to backtrack all the way to the start to kill 1 lousy scorpion I missed but still beat your time! :P

Maybe next time I tr I'll go again and not miss a scorpion.

It took me two attempts. The first came in under 21 minutes (I fell). The second is the one you see below. Now, for my "suitable reward," I would like you to light Coal Chamber on fire and jettison it out into the sea. Thanks.

lol nerfing shadar kai gear would be funny. Pretty much all I used cept for weapon + crafted int item.

While not every store item is in the loot list, there are items that are store "only" that drop from chests. There rate is extremely low, however- less than one in a TR typically. I don't remember the list, but you can also get some airship room deeds and, at least previously, astral diamonds. Don't know if shards drop now, but if so they're incredibly rare.

gear maybe was LITE but those hp point to a lot of Reaper xp already earned?

Why did you need to go back for a scorpion?

One of the required objectives is to kill all the creatures at the bottom of the huge drop at the start. I've seen it happen a few times where if you're not super attentive, you may not notice that one of the scorpions went underground for an extended period, and then rubberbanded when he tried to follow you. You may not notice til much later that you never completed the "close the portal" objective and have to go back for the scorp
