Hi!
Was wondering how I can eliminate one class completely from my multiclass 36point build i had messed up some time ago? I have 8 wizard and 8 warlock. ( don't know what the hell i was thinking) I want to eliminate wizard completely and replace with only 2 levels of splash monk.

Hi, it looks to me like it would be to your advantage to either re-roll the character or run it to 20 and then TR pdq! If you try to "correct it" then you will need either 3x+3 hearts or 2x+5 hearts, either way that is an expensive option. If you have the money and can face wiping your character you could always buy an Otto box and then re-roll and 'box your character up to around lv18 ish. My thoughts anyway. Good luck.

Thank you.
I guess i'll punch out the 4 levels with him the way he is. I really don't want to delete him since he is on the third life.

Already at L16, an Otto box would be a huge waste.
Did you check your inventory/bank space to see if you have one of those +20 hearts that got handed out from time to time?

Um, not 100% true...
You want to lose 8 levels of Wizard. So you need a total of 8 "+'s" of Heart of Wood. If there were a +8 (or more), that would do it - but there isn't, except for a +20.

So 2x +3's, or 2x +5's, or one +20 would all work. Just to be complete.
However - as suggested above, your best move may be to just get to 20 and reincarnate (TR or RR). Warlock 12 is more than strong enough to do that job (and Wiz 8 won't hurt), and then you'll have another reincarnation under your belt, and you're good to go. (For that matter, you could go Warlock 10/Wiz 10 (or 9/11) for a Wiz Past Life. Or Warlock 8(+)/Wizard X/Monk 2 - again, Warlock is that strong.)
At level 16, by far the best option, unless you have DP to burn.

Truly the best option is to just suck it up and go to L20 now, but I think since he stated he wanted to splash 2 levels of monk, it depends on if he wants it with the LR, or if he is willing to earn it by xp.
So if he just wants to lose the 8 wiz levels, then yes, a +5 and a +3 will work to get him to L16 warlock.
If he wants to end up as 14/2 warlock/monk, then he would need 2x +5's or 3x +3s.
But yeah, why bother? Just finish it out to L20 now and skip the LR.

Hey thanks everyone for the replies, i was kinda rusty haven't played in a long while. I'm a warforge and my first life was a true wizard palemaster. when the warlock class came out, I created a palemaster warlock lol, kinda neat at first but i just changed up some enchantments and went with elderitch knight and seems to work well so i will level to 20 like this.
Thanks to all for the replies it helped a lot to get me back in the groove!
