Just logged into the game to see if someone changed (didn't play for at least 3 years) and I thought that the game is dead and there are no more looking for group players but I was wrong! I was surprised to find out that there are 4-5 LGM for my level (Which I didnt see for years).

SO.. whats new? :)

(oh and which server has the most LFM?)

Welcome back to the game.

I don't want to be uncordial but we get these kind of threads twice a week. So have a look at this forum for similiar threads or have a look at the wiki startpage https://ddowiki.com/page/Home . There is an overview.

For which server has the most LFM ... Impossible to say since you didn't inform us about your normal playtime/timezone. Only sure thing to say is, it won't be Wayfinder.

Cheerio,
Titus

If anything, I think the number of players has increased somewhat over the last year. There certainly seems to be quite a few new players on Orien, and it's not even the default server. People can sometimes even get a full raid group together! :p

Certainly, posting in the forum here and on the Discord chat, joining an active guild, checking and posting LFMs if necessary, sometimes even just saying "hello" on general chat, will help you meet and engage with the player base.

As far as new, well Ravenloft was the big new expansion. There have been a few quest packs, such as White Plume Mountain, and a few new FTP quests like Tower of Frost and Lost at Sea.

Also the Eldritch Knight tree has been totally re-vamped and is no longer the worst thing ever, there's some new universal enhancement trees, new wizard spells added, dragonborn and tiefling races, and racial reincarnation as an alternative to class-based true reincarnation.

Um, anything else?

Have fun and welcome back.

I just TR'd into a level 1 (been doing Iconics/Epics for a while) and I'm amazed at how many new players there are :D on Cannith (default server) but still, there's tons!

The only time I have ever heard the term the game is dead is from a disgruntled or disillusioned player. In fact the game has never been dead since it launched in February 2006. A game that launches 3 to 4 updates with new content a year and an occasional major expansion is not by any definition a dead game.
