Aww **** - that's two more weeks till I come back to the game then. Kinda sucks for those of us waiting to unlock inqui with favor

Wish they'd add that to the base expansion package since its delayed, I'd pre order that to play inqui now. Yes I realize that makes favor unlock redundant, but only till they release sharn as a quest pack in the store...

Sharn gear will be better for some builds than the Ravenloft gear. Ravenloft gear will be better for some other builds. Most builds will say, "okay, I need this specific belt because I'm a caster, and I want either minor artifact X or Y. What set bonuses can I get from either Ravenloft or Sharn with the slots I have left and then what slot(s) do I have left for a single Slaver item and maybe an LGS item or two."

Because gear is always about what do you have on all of your slots together, not just "what's best in this one specific slot".

So far it seems like the only mandatory upgrade is the artifact slot, it is hard to ignore 3 filigrees that calculate into your weapon sets as well. My initial reaction was the same, but looking at the big picture (at cap charsheets), the increase is relatively small.

If true, then i can't say i'm surprised, the last build was barebones and the gear pretty meh(and catering to certain playstyles only gong by the dev responces)

I never expected them to be on time tbh, so this delay makes sense. I bet it will be delayed even further. But we'll see.
I also expect the release to have quite some bugs and whatnot, as usual. :P

Hello! We're writing to update you on our release date for the Masterminds of Sharn expansion. In recent days, as we've neared our original April 30th date, we've been looking at several things we want to do yet, based in part on your feedback from Lamannia, and so we have decided to take a bit more time for final bug fixing and polish work. I would prefer a delayed release with less bugs and more polish.

Sure I want to run the new content, experience the new cool features, and get that new loot. But two weeks is not a big deal. I get some more PL's done in the meantime so I can focus my energy on Sharn for a while.

For anyone who quoted me on my last post, that was obvious sarcasm for number one standards. Number two, yes I have seen the previews - I find they are much more helpful than Ravenloft, AT LEVEL 30. It makes LGS obsolete, etc.

Cryptic is FEELING THE PAIN something FIERCE in their rushed Neverwinter Mod 16 release just the other day. And we are dealing will the aftershock in our guild over there --- and it ain't pretty.

Agreed. Especially given the level of feedback they've been accepting this time around- changes take time to implement.
