If they do change end rewards, that’s the least of the changes I’d like too see.
They need to somehow mark items with a green aug slot and special materials weapons with aug slots, move all rare global rewards (hearts, tomes etc) to the top of the list, and put in an option at the top of the list to pass on all rewards, for the inventory challenged. If nothing else, a conjured bolt would stack to 1k and disappear when I log, and I don’t really need to be forced to take that vendor plat item in order to pull the mission again.
I’d love to see collectibles as the end reward option for some quests, I’d take an LSS if it showed up as a saga reward even over 100k+ xp, but I don’t really want to see prayer beads cluttering up every reward list. I guess my vote would depend on the implementation.

But, but then you could have 1,000,000 prayer beads for that one kobold in that one quest...

That's a good idea - make SURE you don't miss out on the goodies!
Gold (plat) rewards would kind of be an asset - usually when I pick a weapon from that list, it goes right to the vendor for plat anyway.
I think, at one time, Cannith Crafting essences (lesser & greater elemental/alignment ones) were supposed to be appearing in end reward lists, but they didn't for some reason. It would be nice if stacks of Cannith Essences appeared in the end reward lists.
It would also be nice if items selected from End reward lists were auto-collected in your bag.

Cannith collectibles really need a quick pass. The ratios are out of whack for anybody that didn't have years of them hoarded. Also, why the heck are there a few that I just NEVER have enough of?!?!?
Looking at you Fragrant Drowshood, Cryptmoss, and all uncommon ings required for insightful bonuses.

I woudln't mind it as an option, even if I don't craft often.
Might spur me to craft more often - who knows?

I'd be down for having Cannith essences as an option, since thats what I do with most of them anyway. Save me the trouble. Or a DD exp gem, just a little extra nugget you can eat right away or pass to an alt, but something at least nominally useful for everyone.
Collectables need a comprehensive pass, though. Adding them to reward tables is lipstick on a pig. You'd still have the same problems of needing to do L6 quests on your L28 character to craft them something L28.

Instead of random generated collectable as a reward (you know that 90% would be prayer beads) they should reward a new item called a "craft voucher" (or whatever) that can be traded for whatever type of collectible or ingredient that the person needs/wants - these should be added to quest completion rewards (from the bestower) and not in chests.... its so anticlimactic to succeed in an epic beat-down quest and be presented with a sorry list of unuseable random generated loot (vendor fodder) by the bestower who promised you a great reward for helping them...

Definitely not. Universal crafting components (outside maybe a Store only item) would trivialize crafting way too much. Rare components define the rarity of crafted items themselves, so if you could create crafted items with essentially no restriction, then you could craft a new suit every time you leveled up, and they're not meant to be that easy. That would probably lead to a nerf in the future, or at least prevent them from expanding Cannith craft.

I think it would be pretty neat if one of the rare or uncommon crafting ingredients that had a chance to appear in the quest, and chosen at random, were added to the rewards lists. Or maybe just one ingredient chosen completely at random from the appropriate level tier if it's too much work to tweak the code for different quests.
As much of a pain as it is to farm ingredients sometimes, I actually like the system we have here overall. This is the first iteration of crafting I've actually leveled a crafter in the entire time I've been playing. It could still use a few tweaks but it's a lot better than previous systems imo.

I just want a "Keep your **** loot" option instead of being forced to take some random gen loot that I will trash later. But i'm one of the lazy types that don't bother with running between crafting halls or selling the loot :P
