Anyone else unable to complete Air Key objective without DD? "Tornadoes" are not working any longer :( Can't get back to "main" walkway.

did a heroic elite lootrun some 2-3 days ago, worked fine
(used the one up north if memory serves right)

as an afterthought, there have been and probably still are various places in the game where, when you kill a specific mob, usually orange or red named that triggers a quest advancement TOO QUICKLY it bugs out.

did u possibly farm heroic on an epic toon and oneshot the demon?

This happened to me once last year. Had to recall and re-run. I vaguely remember touching the "tornado" on the way down - I think that is when it broke.
Also had a run where I had 'permanent' levitate from the lift; until I was pressed against the ceiling with no way to go down. Persisted in HOH after recall. Had to re-log.

I assume it is just the result of a generic bug related to persistent skip-lag that disrupts the sequence of events/timers occasionally in quests.

Unfortunately, if you kill the Goristro guardian before he has fully spawned, the tornadoes will not register that he has been killed and will not reactivate. This has happened to me multiple times in farming runs, so I am quite certain this is the issue. I always let him take a step towards me before attacking.

Yeah, collected the key and killed the demon.

Ok, so let him live longer next time.

Also I was experiencing 3 to 4 sec lag spikes while I was running ToEE so that could have been an issue as a lag spike occurred on spawning. Will "be more patient" next run through.
