Are Tiefling characters subject to being banished? They are outsiders... right? So can mobs banish them?

What makes a creature native to a plane? If a tiefling is born on the material plane does that mean it is native and can't be banished? Alternatively, can Aasimar be banished if they have the heritage of a good outsider?

Tieflings, and aasimar, are both native outsiders, meaning that while they have traits of an "outsider", because of their heritage, because they are born in the prime material, in this case eberron, they would not be subject to banishment. Similar to how once a monk reaches 20 they technically become outsiders (lawful outsider?) but cannot be banished from their own home plane.
I could be wrong on some technicalities, but pretty sure this about sums it up.

This. Tiefling player characters are subject to the same rules for banishment as other player characters, meaning they can technically be banished from other planes, but not Eberron's prime material plane and, for some reason, apparently Faerun's prime material plane, though my memory doesn't entirely serve as to whether creatures from a prime material plane can be banished from another prime material plane. It seems like, at least for DDO, it doesn't work that way, because otherwise I'm certain some of the evil baddies in Faerun would have realized that all they need to do is banish the annoying adventurers from another world.

No, but it would be an awesome insta-kill for a Boss to occasionally toss out. :D
*poof* and Soul Stone.

Not even that - *poof* and you're back in the Stormreach marketplace lol. Quest reset timer is ticking!
Or worse yet...*poof* and you're back in ES, from any Eberron quest. Sucks to be an Iconic :D
And anyone at all would be banishable in FR :D

I wish npcs did those kind of tricks more often. May be some stronger versions of some spells only available to certain npcs.
Banishing the player or sending the player to a prison for some time.
Checking for your best item and stat and nerfing or turning it against you.
Turning your summons (including Skeleton knight and Iron Defender) or charmed monsters against you.
Turn the player in to an animal (Polymorph)-doesnt let you use special attacks nor spells.
Crushing despair actually causing the player to fall down and cry for sometime.
Make the player start laughing (Tasha's Hideous laughter) and running around like mad for a fair enough time would all be very funny effects.
Imagine a full raid team failing those high saves and doing random things. :P
