View Full Version : Can anyone figure out this math?

So trip is DC 20:
Base 10 + 6 str + 3 ftr PL + 1 Guild bonus = 20
Also equipping a combat mastery item does raise the DC by the same number.

Now Takedown is DC 19:
base 10 + (2 druid)/2 + 8 wis + 3 ftr PL + 1 guild bonus = 23
Seems the ftr PLs and guild bonus are not being applied. Coincidentally, equipping a combat mastery item does NOT raise the DC.

Is this a known bug? Is it just a display error? Cause it sucks that the free version is more powerful than the sp version...

As far as I know the formula is right but the display is wrong. It shouldn't only be Takedown even, I've heard friends in druid saying their Snowslide DC is wrong too.

I wish this kind of stuff would show up in the combat log or something... there's too many of these display errors to trust the tooltips.

You'll need another player to test in the brawling pits, there's no way to see the saving throw otherwise.

Why would the devs bother fixing all the tooltips that have DC's? How about they add mobs to Sealed in Amber instead?

Fixing all the broken tooltips is hard the the Executive Producer would never allow it!!!
