Time for a little speculation!
NDAs were mentioned a few times in the anniversary livestream which probably means things linked to forthcoming stuff by WotC. We had Ravenloft which was linked to the 5e version of that relatively recently & before that we had the mask of deception which was linked to the age of dragons - a little google-fu reveals that there's something upcoming for 5e that's nautical-based & Isle of Dread could be adapted for us to link in with that.
With classic Isle of Dread having dinosaurs, that could fit really well with the new racial variant being Talenta halflings as they're nomadic tribal people that ride dinosaurs & are unique to Eberron. I think it highly unlikely we'd ride them ourselves or get a full-fledged dinosaur animal companion as their unique racial feature but it's possible we might get a special summon monster spell in place of the dragonmark that'd be built to scale in the same way flame blade does & get a different dinosaur depending on character level. If there's an iconic version, then one of the only f2p classes remaining would be barbarian & that'd fit pretty well with that theme.
Assuming the new class is tied in to this too, Spirit Shaman would fit well since they'd be a primal magic spontaneous caster with access to the druid spell list (similar how wiz/sorc or cleric/fvs work), but instead of shapeshifting & animal companion they'd have access to spirit-based abilities - not sure exactly how this would be implemented, but I suspect an enhancement tree each for ancestral (fighting based), nature (healing based) & elemental (offensive casting based) spirits could be a starting point.
It's nice we're getting some compensation for the downtime, ok it's the original raiders reward box that's limited to CITW loot but still, a free mornh could be particularly tasty for a scourge aasimar with knight's training for running those epic levels until legendary whelm becomes available - run in dreadnaught & break out the baggy trousers, it's HAMMERTIME!

I approve of this speculation. I seriously doubt it cos we're getting Sharn, not Khorvaire, but I certainly approve of it as a direction to head after Sharn. :D
Ya, I'm guessing shaman too
But it could be another melee type as well...
As to evilbeeker and his anti paladin
I don't really think so,
Ssg doesn't like to do evil
That being said, I'd really rather see a psion
It could be the roll out for psionics next year
But it doesn't sound like they got that worked out yet

Well all that other stuff is stated in the producer's letter to be coming after Sharn - and Sharn is ON Khorvaire :)
Also, Stormreach may be on Zen'Drik but we've already been invaded by enemies from Droaam (also on Khorvaire), had dragons from Argonassen poking their noses in & gone for a trip to the Mournland (on Khorvaire, bordering the Talenta plains) with Talbron so there's no reason why there shouldn't be an expedition from Sharn (iirc it was mentioned thered be a new public area there?) to the Talenta plains, it's about as far as Tempest's Spine is from Stormreach after all & it'd certainly be nice to see more of Eberron.
