Last I heard, They will start this Tuesday after the world restart...


Remember that time we turned on the Risia Ice Games with players still in the world and a bunch of people got stuck in the ice? Apparently I failed to remember it when announcing earlier today that we'd start on Thursday. Since it has to coincide with a world reset, we'll begin on Tuesday and run through February 17th.

Yes thanks, I did see that it was supposed to begin after restart tomorrow but was there any mention of changes and/or updates to the events?

Nothing about it in the Patch 3 release notes, so likely no changes.

No bitterness now, I'm sure someday one of the devs will take an interest in updating Risia/Midwinter and then all these ideas will be right here waiting. Perhaps there is some antipathy because in Boston they keep getting the mean side of winter. I mean perhaps shoveling snow might make you less eager to see it in game. :/

The boat location in the Harbor was changed a while ago, which will change some folks' strategy for coin jumping. But that's not news w/ this update.

I did not see anything new at the Motes of Winter Collector in Eveningstar. After about 80 Purple Coin trades, I have not found anything new from the Coin Collector in the Harbor.
