Hello everyone returning player could use assistance

Hello everyone Returning Player as the last time I played was around MotU. I have a level 20 bladeforged paladin where to start? The goal learn the game again, and gear up. Any assistance people here can hand out would be greatly appreciated such as, Health of the game, new raid system, cannith crafting yay or nay?, what's worth the grind these days for quest exclusive ingredients for shroud style crafting?, is it worth having multiple alts at cap able to raid to collect and never spend the runes as they are for the main that will be there for good one day?, Builds and gear/gear sets that are good for a paladin no past lives yet. I plan on going 3 bladeforged paladin lives first so different playstyles are welcome want to learn the builds and classes one by one and go for triple completionist that is the long term goal with epic past lives in between, I did run a few reapers with a group so I know about all of that even the lockout, then I will start with racials. I have a lesser heart to respec current level 20. So pure paladin bladeforged builds, sword and shield, 2 handed weapon, what's the flavor at this time in game? What are filgree sets for builds going to need assistance with that kind of stuff. Yes I know I will have alot of info if people could with the builds if possible please Private Message those and then we can keep this to the other general information. Thanks in advance.

P.S. Are there any past lives that are not worth doing?
I dont need to have triple completionist status if this is the case, I was told barbarian past lives are a waste of time for 30 hitpoints these days as it's like 2 reaper points for 30 hitpoints or something close to that I was told.

At level 20 you might want to work on multiple epic destinies and epic reincarnations first, these provide the biggest bang for the buck in improving stats. Hopefully you have MOTU and Shadowfell Conspiracy, which will help a lot in epic leveling through diverse environments, and provide some ok gear for levels 20-28. If you can get Ravenloft, that will provide the quickest-best gear you can access at level 29-30, and level 10-19 if you are doing heroic/racial reincarnations.

Suggestion

go to 30 ( u can even play EN dailies and reach lvl 30 fast)

if u like the game i suggest buy (in order) Ravenloft expansion, slave lord pack, age of rage pack, wpm pack



consider get and try warlock if u havent tried in next heroic life (see Slarden warlock build on forum/classes)


warlock is easy to play and dont need uber itemization

with arlock u can find all gear u need


actually melee is very strong but very difficult to play at 30, and u need at least all ravenloft items (they are easy to farm in normal quests).

Own all content flat out, just wanted to do the quick grind of bladeforged past lives to kill 2 birds with one stone the healing amp from paladin and the fortification from bladeforged if I am not mistaken? I was looking for decent build and gear sets so I'm not a total burden and can still help out somewhat. I want to at least do 2 lives of each class pure I will get to warlock, it is on the higher side of the list to play had fun grinding to 100 favor on a server with it, but planning 3 paladin lives in a row then next on list is 3 lives of cleric or favored soul to get my hands readjusted to using F1-F12. Have always had troubles with that I have small hands and gaming keyboards are fairly large.
