Running a 14 mnk/6 rng shuriken build with a Spite in Fury I quite excepted some pretty large crits when using Sniper Shot + Adrenaline.
What I am seeing on R1 is 2-5k crits, making the total damage somewhere around 10-20k from using an Adrenaline charge which is nice but hardly impressive. Higher with boosts, lower without.

Do these numbers look right or what should they look like?

It looks like they should have nerfed Shurikens and not Handwraps.

Pretty much...
Initial handwraps +100%
Nerfed handwraps +50%
Shuriken +150%... ( larger dice scaling than thf weapons )

Are those numbers pre or post AB->damage and 10kstars?
Wisdom adds RP when 10ks.

Not enough information currently for answer.

What your stat? WIS/DEX/RP/MP? How exactly you split? What enhancements you used? Stances?

Assume whatever you think would be a realistic maximum and what kind of damage you would assume in that situation on a mob thats neither helpness, vulnerable or otherwise non-standard.

Looking for *wet sponge* as the next big-deal throwing weapon in ddo, with better than THF dice loads.

LOL. If you're running a wraps monk at 30 and not spamming >2k crits more than once every 6s on R1 content, there are some serious deficiencies with your build and/or gear. For example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6e1huETuL-o

After you spend some time processing that, then consider that wraps monks aren't top of the food chain in DPS. They weren't top of the food chain even before the wraps nerf, but that's another story. Tempest rangers, assassins, kensai fighters, and barbs all do more DPS.

Level 30 Monk? I couldn't tell you, though no doubt you are right about other classes/builds having better dps at Legendary. I pretty much quit the game because how that hand wrap nerf effected my heroic 15th level heroic level toon. Mainly that.

But I also was not pleased that roughly half the named items in my account were consumed by the sentient gem on my monks Lvl. 30 handwraps. I really just didn't like the idea of farming those rare filigrees.

For me, it was the last straw …

I can't quote specific numbers right now since I have TR'd out of monk before the nerf but given the numbers I had subtracting the dice they've lost in the patch they should still hit 2k+ crits without trouble. Overall monks are still relatively strong, the problem is high reaper metas do not favour stable output self-sufficient monks as much as burst tempests etc., but you should nonetheless still be a valuable addition to DPS if you know what you're doing.

I know it's frustrating to have your damage taken down in heroics, but to be fair monks still roll content fine, if a little slower than before.
