Can this be turned off? It's horrid. A lazy re-texture of Tenser's. Which is an old model and ugly. The stance seems worth using so I'd like to ditch the graphic if possible. Here's hoping.

I second this. Tenser's was always a bad visual. The effect around the hands is more than enough for EK in my view.

I love the graphic

I hope it does not count as necro yet...
Anyway, I dislike the visual effect nad wanted to bump the op question - any way to turn it off?
Or maybe a dev will drop by and read it (a man can hope). It is a stance that is on most of the time (not much reason to turn it off save for using long-range spell sometimes). Such things tend to be invisible (like Nature's Defense or Swashbuckling). Knight's transformation blocks the view of the character and gets old fast. There is really no need for that. Currently it discourages from taking the enhancement (my wife's first reaction was 'how do I turn the blue thing off?'), just as PDK looks discourage from playing one.
So how about making it much more transparent? So that you know it is there if you check, but it is not the main thing you see while looking at your character.

I'd like to second this - I abandoned my EK because of it...:(

I think blur and moreso displacement is bad as well if we are talking about tensers, which is less commonly used.
While on topic, other things painful to the eye - wolf form animation, warforged character model

I like the idea of having a visual, Knight's Transformation is essentially a magical effect that the character activates rather than just assuming a stance.
On the other hand, the actual visual for it looks cheap and nasty. A glow around the character, using the visual effect (or at least glow-colour) of the active spellsword toggle could be a way to make it work effectively, with the glow increasing with Improved and Arcanum.

Agreed! It is way to dominating an effect. The visual effects of a lot of spells and enhancements could really do with toning down a bit. The changes to the spell-sword effects were a step in the right direction. I take a lot of time to try to get my character to look like what I want, then once you've got Knight's Transformation, Displace, Undead form and other stuff you just turn into a haze of effects anyway.
Either make the effects more subtle, or else provide an interface option that adjusts the level of their visibility perhaps?

Not a fan of permanent "glow" effects. They tire my eye much more so than just a static graphic; however, I am also tired of the massive purple spikes and would love to turn them off with a toggle. Baring that, just reduce the effect in size and intensity.
Also, please turn off the hireling blue glow effect every time they poof to you. Causes my computer to stutter lock every.single.time and nothing I change fixes it.

Yes please, add an option to remove this visual or tone it down. It really bugs me and my cosmetic enjoyment of my character

Also the giant hoops for the spellsword visuals. Make them all like fire, a small subtle effect on the hands. A right click on the icon similar to spell metamagic selection would work here. (right click the shortcut visual on or off)

Nothing is as bad as a PDK
