Looking to plan a future rogue TA build (with 3 monk lvls). Looking at the enhancement Sweeping Strikes on the wiki and wondering if items with Combat Mastery would improve the DC for Sweeping Strikes (or anything else for that matter)?

I can't absolutely confirm, since I didn't check the listed DCs before and after equipping tactics items, but I'm 95% sure the answer is yes. I just finished a pure TA life and used the bejeezus out of Sweeping Strikes. I'd made a point to equip tactics gear along the way and it remained my most reliable CC through level 20

Unless it has been fixed recently, Sweeping Strikes is currently broken and does not receive any tactics benefits. This unfortunately means the DC is crippled to a 10 + Rogue level + Dex Mod. This may be 14 instead of 10 base if some forum posts are true, but in any case, it's not working on anything unless it has really low checks or rolls a 1. Just see it as a strong cleave on a really long cooldown.

If they ever fixed it to properly benefit from Vertigo tactics like Devs said it should on many occassions, I'd consider the move well worth the 20s CD to have an AOE trip that hits hard. Though even without that I still tend to take it on my stick builds.

Vertigo and generic tactical bonuses don't work iirc, *EDIT - look below*. I am currently actively using this now still on a pure acrobat with no cleave feats so sweeping is my only cleave attack.

EDIT - Dug a few threads down since I didn't test this extensively myself, no trip bonuses work for Sweeping Strikes at this moment, the text has also apparently been wrong for years. Strength check for trip, not too high for most mobs in general vs the 60+ you can usually throw out on a dex build so there should not be any real issues landing this. No subsequent save though, so be ready for all the mobs to just come back up together if you don't add any further CC or kill them off quick.
