Elf 19monk/1wizard wisdom build. take the feat spell focus: enchantment and twist enchantment focus from magister for nice AA DC. Use fury of the wild for DPS. AA and falconry tree for wisdom to hit and damage.

Elf (or Half-Elf) 14/6 Monk/Ranger
6 levels Ranger
Then 14 levels Monk
Level 18, make sure to take GMoF

I played it before Falconry and the build was already AP tight. 18 Dex (regardless if you go Elf), +Con, +Wis (I went Max Con, 14 Wis) rest into Intelligence and should have done 14/14/12 Con/Wis/Int (I think that was the split I used on the ER to see "what I could have had" by saving build points by not maxing Con and Dex. Anyways, I never focused it on Paralyzing Arrow simply because of the amount of immune NPC's in Epic/Legendary. I went straight DPS which it did fairly average at. It was actually quite survivable (more so than I was expecting) and did better damage than my Ranger thanks to 10k.

Play wise, I played it as a TWF until level ~15 before switching to Bow. And the power of the build doesn't become possible until 23+ which I felt very offended by. Overall, I did enjoy it once I got to 25+ and started gearing it with Ravenloft Gear. I disliked that the best bow in the game is a big finger at Monk Bow builds though with Anarchy attached to it.

I also just ran a pre-Falcon life doing the 6/14 ranger/monk split as a DEX build. My experience was similar to AbyMage, a lot of fun and more viable than I would have thought. Note that you need a lot of Racial APs, so a build with more past lives wold be much much better since you need a bunch in Elf to unlock the tree.

As a WIS build, I'm not sure you have enough AP for everything. You would with DEX.

You need 41 in AA for the capstone
14 in elf to unlock AA.
I did 11 in DWS for SniperShot.
80 + (1 racial AP on my toon) - 66 => 15 AP to play with. You need 12 for WIS hit/dmg in falconer and you'll want +5% hps, so not a lot of room for error.


It also has the property that elf and AA trees all give DEX, so you can't boost WIS as high as you can DEX. Honestly Pure 20 monk elf might be a better choice for a WIS build. 14 + 41 for elf and AA, then everything else into falconer.

Feat wise, you'd be OK, you just couldn't take SF:Enchant since you can't cast spells.
