OK, so like many people i have ideas about things missing from DDO that make perfect sense and SHOULD be in game.
1. Rogue Mechanic and Artificer Battle Engineer. You really gonna sit there and tell me these specialists cant make an Xbow with a silencer? pls DDO kill the tat tat tat nonsense.
2. Dragonborn. So i chose an element for my breath attack and have an immunity to that element. Can we please be able to target this and not have head movement when we move making us spew on the walls or floor instead of monsters.
3. Primordial Ooze. we have all heard that phrase most of our lives. This would sap your power (melee, range, spell) and grant a primal bonus when slain. Obviously a rare spawn. Could be a rider on the reaper spawn. die roll happen for reaper spawns? if so, vorpal would make it appear. Could even be an event and appear in all quests. Maybe other events have items that are needed to improve your chances against it. Oh yeah, the forgotten Oozebane and Muckbane, lets make those relevant again.
SSG has been prolific with fingerprints on a lot of stuff. Some good some bad.
Lets help them do more good.
So i say to you, my fellow adventurers, can we make a top ten list here?!

Apparently they can't even figure out how to cut off the tip of a bolt to make it "blunt" so it can work on skeletons. Sad.

All I want is to see a Unicorn. We know they're in Eberron, given that their hair is a spell component, and we rob a horn off a drunk kobold, but where are they?
Were they hunted to extinction during the great war? Did the the creation forges run off of the magic in Unicorn blood? Are Warforged the Unicorns of the modern era?
Clearly, it is 3:00 AM and I should be going to bed now.

On an Artificer life and this would be much appreciated.
You can literally purchase blunt tip ammunition from the store in real life for target and hunting. I am sure a highly magical campaign setting like Eberron can make arrows with "blunt" damage properties so the denizens can hunt duck or squirrel.
My suggestion,
A spell component bag. Normal casters need to use up to 13 (If I counted correctly) slots just for spell components. Yes, I assume it would require lots of coding but something to think about when you actually do a spell caster pass (and it would help a ton of classes, everyone except pure martial classes, so it is worth the invested time). And you can sell us more bags. Bring in some revenue :)

I know this one has been suggested for years, as has been potion and scroll cases. From way back when I was on the PC, we did get to sort of dig into them about why these don't exist. Long story short, as best I remember it: there isn't a way for the inventory system to "see" into bag likes these to make stuff usable. When we asked about why collectables and ingredients could be pulled from bags and the shared bank for crafting, we were told it was basically some very complicated bespoke coding that allowed it (their explanation was much more detailed, but not being of the technical and coding sort, this is more or less what I remember). We were told that these are things they'd like to do, but currently there's just not the means to make it happen.

A web based character interface that lets you see gear, mail, auctions, quest completion / patron favor status, friends online, etc.
That would do far more to have me thinking about my characters when I'm not actually in game than even a dozen new enhancement trees, races, or expansions. Other games do it and it really works. Some even give rewards for checking on your character online, and that works too, like Daily Dice but on a web site.
Or maybe sortable and renameable bags?

I would want one as a pet but not for a magic bonus... because I was a fan of the cartoon and would then have to (moral imperative) create a halfling or gnome barbarian because reasons.

I was thinking about this the other day. Wouldn't it be nice to have an app where you could view your character sheet. Access bank. Equip/ unequip. On your phone.
Of course I'd also like a horse to gallop across eberron and eveningstar with.
Wait... A flying horse.
They're all equally as likely to happen

Spears.
'nuff said?
(Just use the quarterstaff animation for goodness sake for melee attacks and a 'throwing spear' consumable like throwing axes for ranged versions - I know the animation is already in-game...just ask the Bugbears! we've only been waiting a dozen years for this very simple fix. Yeesh!)

I personally would like to have the ability to download my character data, including the gear they have equipped and my inventory and bank inventory in a text format. I have so much stuff in so many places it would be nice to look at a sheet and say, "This is what I was wearing last life at level 15." or it would be nice to know which bank toons have certain items instead of logging off and back on a dozen times searching for that one thing I know I have somewhere, like most of us have done at some point.

4. Better consumables inventory system - perhaps Batman had it right. need a toolbelt. Even Elminster has the idea down. (check the loadscreen pic)
5. The Killer App - yes may as well name it that
6. Spears. can hear the Barbarian Clans clamor for this! great idea! would this be an enhancement that allows for 2-3 throws of item with a cooldown? (got to collect the non returning spears) or would it be linked to action boosts and you get so many per rest.
more! more!
SSG, if you use any of the ideas from this developing top 10 list, please be kind enough to give the contributors some DDO points. Not expecting residuals, just common sense. Thank you.

Items that scale with your character level.
Bound to character items are instead bound to account.
Only a big account bank and no character bank anymore with a new UI similar to the auction house.
A new cosmetic UI where the cosmetics are no longer actual items.
An overhaul of the social panel (removing bugs and add functionality).
bravery bonus is consistent with reaper experience penalty (if you get bravery bonus you get full reaper experience)
a new reaper experience calculation that is mainly based on the quest-completion-time and difficulty (skulls) and not on the quest level.
you can gift another player not only with a pass, you can also gift him with a complete adventure pack.
A new server where every item is free tradable.
you can buy everything in the DDO Shop even if you are a subscriber (aka VIP)
Your character can scale down in level so you can do lower level dungeons without a penalty and without being overpowered.
Hirelings are useful because they scale in power either with your character or with the quest difficulty and level.
All named items are in an Item Compendium (I hope that's a good word for it, it should be similar to the Monster Manual)
You can improve your items inside this compendium and summon them at will on any character.
In general spells and abilities should scale with your character level
housing
a new graphical engine as a long-term goal (not a DDO 2.0).
complete removal of pay to win and instead only revenue from selling content (new races, classes, quests, cosmetics etc.)
only one server for the whole DDO community.
A new loot system that rewards player without the need of luck.
all spells, item effects, and abilities are useful from level 1-30 (this means they all have a level scaling element if need).
In general a move to progressive combat calculation away from an all or nothing system (two examples below).
the DC check determinates the cooldown and maybe the casting speed and leads only when the monster rolls a 20 in a fail.
the fortification reduces the additional damage a critical hit does.
Removing Physical Resistance Rating and instead of a new AC calculation.
Merging Magical Resistance Rating, energy resistance, and absorption effects into one energy absorption effect.
All Damage Reduction effects change to Damage Absorption effects (percentage)
Item effects that are dependant on your character stats (e.g. you can work for the DC on them)
Long-term character progression (reaper experience and past lives) is shared across your account at least on the same server.
the different weapon types are balanced to do similar damage per second
the different armor types are better balanced (all potentially reduce the damage by a similar amount but in a different way).
I certainly forgot something but I think that's enough for now :)

The monk's core unarmed combat damage. Always had it, in every DnD game ever. Here? It was sacrificed because of SSG's screwup with ONE set of wraps... even though
monks weren't even top DPS at the time. (They were dead last in every player parse, and lowest crit damage). It's CR4P like that why they keep losing their player base.
Every monk on the planet apparently forgot 12 years of training, and now have to use BIS wraps to keep "most" of their damage. Utility wraps, gone. Flavor, gone. Players, gone.

Monk suppose to be the most OP fighter with a few fake caster skills in D&D, for example their armor class suppose to go up with levels, so is spell resistance, plus run speed, at a certain stage they suppose to get stone skin, ghost touch, so in ddo term, by Lev 30 they suppose to be the most OP toon on the planet.
But in reality, they are the weakest, most squishy 1 hit die on the planet.

Hmm lets see....
-The game should remember window positions and sizes, instead of resetting to defaults every time you log out
-Toggled abilities like stances should stay on when you log out (some do, most dont, like power attack)
-Give players a reason to trade. Most gear binds to prevent trading, so there is no reason to trade unlike most other MMOs. Stuff that is traded is mostly niche ingredients for shards.
-Give players a reason to put up LFMs. Vets with OP characters dont bother because they can solo and carry multiple alts while multiboxing.
-Make the self healing penalty in reaper apply to consumables only, not spells which are a class feature.
-Re-balance base weapon types to make sense (Great clubs are martial and inferior to Mauls in every way...at least make them simple proficiency)
-Include a tutorial for reaper mode.
-Allow players to get reaper points so they can get ready for r1...rather than having to get players to carry them till they get sufficient reaper points to not die in 2 hits.
-When a quest is selected in the journal, the map should have an arrow pointing to the way point, instead of forcing the player to search the map for the waypoint.
-Add ravenloft style guides to all quest wilderness zones (sands, etc).
-Fix the quests where the mobs are tougher than quests 5 levels higher. 1.5k hp skeleton archers in the first slave lords quest is a good example. Meanwhile, the second slave lords quest has like, 300 hp hobgoblins...
-Make plat useful for something other than buying cheap leveling gear for alts and 2m tomes.
-Increase the base walking speed so new players dont get bored and quit the game before leaving Korthos.
-Make hard/elite open to all players so new players dont get the wrong impression of what the game plays like from normal mode and quit.
-Re-balance damage vs instant kills so that damage is actually effective in high heroics. The party isnt going to wait 5+ seconds for you to kill a 3k hp archer when a spellcaster can spam instant kills every 3s or less.
-Make bravery bonuses seperate between heroic and epic verisons of the same quest so people actually try to get the bravery bonus rather than soloing everything 2x on normal and then logging off.
-Remove power leveling penalties in heroics. Hey, if you can have level 30s powerlevel level 20 characters in epics and nobody seems to have any problems with it, whats the problem with having a level 8 party with a level 4? Finding parties in heroics shouldn't be 10x harder than epics.
-Make the markup costs for crafting unbound gear actually sane. Like 2x would be fine. Literally nobody crafts unbound gear which removes a huge new player attraction : that of having your friends invite you to play and give you gear to get started.
-If a player leaves the dungeon, all loot in chests assigned to them should be allocated to other players via some kind of system (free for all, party leader decides, whatever)
-Re-balance skills so that all skills are useful, instead of "eveyone must take UMD for heal scrolls"
-Give players a reason to run wilderness areas in heroics other than niche named items like the ring of spell storing.
-Players who join a party in a dungeon should automatically be informed of what quest it is and have the option to pick it up without people needing to share.
-If someone tries to share a quest that you already have, you should get some kind of popup. Pretty much nobody reads the system message in general chat. It is very tiring having to explain which quest the party is in. "Share pls" "I did" "I didnt get it" "You already have the quest" "What quest is that" gets very frustrating after the 100th time.
-Some sort of remove all function for the TR cache would be nice. Theres already a loot all button in the game...
-Epic reincarnation should reincarnate you to level 20, not to level 1 and having to re-allocate all 20 levels again.
-Fix outdated quest loot tables, especially the ones that trick newbies with "rare crafting materials" that arent used in the current cannith crafting system.
-Scale pnp buffs/debuffs to take into account DDO stat inflation. Many spells have copy pasted pnp values and do not scale via spellpower so are pretty much useless. Spells like Holy Aura are a great example.
-Fix UI bugs, like needing to relog after leveling for the UI to update instead of showing that you still cant equip gear with your new level.
-Update augments to the current lootgen scaling. This would literally take under an hour excluding testing time. All you have to do is look at the random lootgen scaling and copy paste it over for the same ML. Not hard.
-Allow VIP players to buy packs in the store. Its like SSG doesnt want VIP players to give them money or something...
-Add a "hide unavailable feats" filter option when leveling.
-Re-balance feats so that there is actually a reason to take most dragonmark feats, skill focus feats, etc. They are currently nothing more than newbie traps in 99% cases.
-Fix the threat system. Threat management modifiers are pointless when a tank can run in with 50% more threat, do 1k damage, and all the mobs will ignore him to run at a guy behind a wall that is out of LOS and doing nothing.
-Make epic past life bonuses activate only after reaching level 20. They are massively OP for heroic quests and the #1 reason for why vets dont bother to party, because they can run a caster with epic past live bonuses and facetank mobs in r1 when leveling in heroics.
-Re-balance optionals so they are worth doing. Most optionals are not, nobody is going to waste 5-10 minutes of time to do an optional that gives 10% more xp. Most optionals are nothing more than newbie traps.
-Allow f2p players to list 5 or 10 items so newbies can actually make money rather than getting frustrated and quitting. Yes, this will make SSG more money in the long run.

Yeah, monks are horrible now. with all the changes over the last few months, they got nerfed into the floor. They went from being retardedly low DPS, to an "I need a life for 1 damage" class.
Don't need them for CC, casters have AOE control and better DCs.
Don't need them for melee DPS, every build we tried does rediculously more damage, with higher crit range/multipliers. Our Barbarian at TEN, is far outdamaging our Monk at 19.
Don't need them for stuns, our Fighter has 17 DC more.
Don't need them for ranged shuriken damage, our Ranger has already crit for 142k. That's not a typo.... 142k.
Monks, the 5th Stooge. Shemp being the 4th.

Barbarian's regularly hitting for over 30k now. Monk finally got a 5k crit, after stacking 40% vulnerability on a stunned target. Yay. Can we have monk DPS back for Christmas?
