View Full Version : Recommended end game (reaper) weapon augments for DPS?

I'm currently going with dual Flows.. so I have two augments slots on each weapon. What would be good recommendations for augments for DPS and/or CC? I'm mostly running end-game reapers.

Currently I have slotted 1 deconstructor and a ruby of endless night on weapon 1, and a ruby of endless night on weapon 2 (2nd slot open). My questions are:
- ruby of endless night.. is it really effective at this level and if so, is 1 on each weapon helpful or should I keep it on one?
- meteoric star ruby - I used to have those at lower levels but my guess is the knockdown isn't effective at end game?
- ruby of good - I am considering slotting one on each but.. not needed all the time, and I am thinking of crafting LGS good clickies (however, when you die.. clickies already used up so probably need a few)
- other options for DPS? recommendations?

I wouldnt say ruby of endless night is effective. Epic ward regens neg levels 1 per 3 seconds. Endless night is a neg level on vorpal. Vampire slayer at least gives silver DR + 1d4 light damage.
As for meteoric star ruby: the DC is 20 + ML of weapon(29) so it would have a DC of 49 vs reflex. The damage would be 3d6 fire and 1d6 bludgeon per min lvl of weapon. With a 2% chance to trigger.
