View Full Version : Is the Silver Long bow, fom the Church of the Cult quest still available?

Hi all. Little frustrated so thought I would get some confirmation here. Is the Silver Longbow still available in the end chest of the quest Church of the Cult? I've run the quest 18 times now 9 (between two characters) and have not found it. I have found 4 Bloodplates, 2 cloak of shadows and 1 named trinket, but no bow.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I looted one a few weeks ago. Running the quest on elite it still took half way through the second ransack (12 or so chest opens) with 2 people in the group (24 chances) to get one. Went to get my buddy one and it dropped first run.

Just to share your pain, I've now run C+C eleven times and never had it drop :(

I have nothing of value to share on this, just that DAMMIT me toooo

and mine is the opposite - i pull it almost every life on cer - have made akilling on ah selling them

Yes, it still drops. Bad luck is bad. You might also be pushing up against ransack if you've run your 9 runs too close together. The quest is low level, you might consider spending some AS on re-rolls. Or checking the AH/ASAH.

My friends and I do semi-regular loot runs whenever people need something. The more people pull, the more people pass. Usually we get a list of the things we need together ahead of time and hit things until they drop. It's far less frustrating.

It took me about 10 runs to get one...a few weeks ago. All Elite runs. You might try R1...that might increase the drop rate.

I run that quest once a life, every life.

Don't get a silver longbow every life but I've gotten enough that all my current bow users have one.

I don't currently have one in the bank waiting on my next ranger character, but sooner or later...

Reaper 1 skull. However, AFAIK that would only increase the drop rate by 1%, so it's not really worth it.

If you dual box, you can leave toons from your other account(s) at the start, clean up, then run them to end for their pull. Multiplies you chances.

Ran it with a guildie a few months ago in preparation for TRing. Both of us running it on elite finally got it to drop on our 7th run. I got it and passed it to him.

My life savings is 3000000, I'd of spent that after failing 18 times. Probably would ahve bought ans spent 30 shards as well.

Correct for Orien, incorrect for Argo. ;)

For Argo usual buyout (1-2 days) range 75-85 AS. I resell many, many Silver Bows with this price... 8)
