Hi so I have a lvl 10 ring that im ready to put a a basic spell resistance and an insightful spell resistance shard on, but it looks like all I can get is plus 1?? How do you raise the amount of bonus on a thing?

First off, fairly sure you can't put insightful spell resistance on a ring. Belt, Cloak or trinket are the only items you can put both effects on.

With that out of the way.

Step one: Use Dust of Disjunction on the item your crafting on to.
Step two: Craft a Minimum level Shard equal to level you want the item to be (So in your case a Min lvl 10 shard)
Step three: Craft the required effect shards (theses do not have levels. The power level is set by the Minimum level shard you crafted in step 2)
Step 4: Combine shards with Item starting with the Minimum level shard then all others

How do you raise the amount of bonus on a thing?
Yeah, what Garix said.

First, you start w/ some droploot - can't be named, has to be random gen stuff (for Cannith Crafting).

And you plan out what you are going to make - a given type of item (ring, weapon, boot, etc.) can only have certain types of effects.

o http://ddowiki.com/page/Cannith_Crafting/table_1b

Then you "blank" it - use Dust of Disjunction to remove all current magics. You now have a generic item with nothing on it. (Unusual material, augment slots, and any augments in them, remain).

Then you make, and then apply, a Minimum Level (ML) shard. Your choice, but the ML determines the final values of the item (if those values are variable - some few are not). Different enchantments have diff cutpoints.

o http://ddowiki.com/page/Cannith_Crafting/table_3b

Finally, make, and then apply, the shards for the effects you want. These enchantments will automagically scale up to the ML that you applied earlier. (Don't have to do all 2-3 at once - can do one at a time if you prefer.)

o http://ddowiki.com/page/Cannith_Crafting#Tables (Using these tables, you can figure it all out yourself, or use one of several Crafting apps available.)

However, once you have an effect in place, the only way to increase the value is to start from scratch - blank the item back to zero, apply a higher-ML shard, and re-make and apply enchantment shards.

Thanks. I went ahead and crafted a lvl 10 and i saw right away that it scales per level. Something they dont tell you anywhere, it just says +1
