When I win the lottery

When I win the lottery I will buy ddo and this is what I will do.

1.Change the meta every year.

2.Remove self heal penalty from reaper.

3.Make pure builds as good or better than multi class builds.

4.Incentivize no toxic behavior by only allowing guilds to remain at level and gain levels by a rating system that new vip or premium players vote on the first 3 months of there act. Also give exclusive cosmetic gifts to the most welcoming and kind players.

5.Moniter the bad eggs and suspend them for toxic treatment of others.

6. Blance the entire game around a point system so things like warlock and monk don't happen. Also things like casters with no past lives doing r10.

I think many of us dream about the 'ultimate game'. If I won a big enough lottery I might take a stab (Ha Ha!) at the ultimate game but I would start from scratch. The problem with imposing one's will on a game like DDO is that it will invariably disappoint, anger, and hurt many people. How would you like it if someone else won the lottery, bought Standing Stone Games, and did the opposite of everything you wrote? It would really suck for you. I would not want to make anyone feel like that.

It is fun to dream, though. :)

Even if you won the lottery, why would you think that would automatically mean you could buy DDO? They don't have to sell to you if you have money. And monk and warlock are fine, any class can dominate if played right. And as to your suggestions for guilds .... HUH?

Yes, and once you pen your dream to a public forum you are inviting people's criticism on its shortcomings. Fact: monk dps is not the best in game. Fact: a warlock/pally is not the best tank in game. Fact: a warlock while versatile is not the best DC caster or best DPS caster.

self heal penalty has to stay its what encourages groups to get a dedicated healer. I think maybe some changes could be made to it like AoE heal spells meant to heal a group of people should have full effect on the caster if and only if it hits more then 3 other party members, but good luck coding that into the spell so don't touch it.

and why should there be balance between classes? you have to actually pay to unlock warlock and monk they should be better then other pure classes right out the box otherwise the only incentive to get them is so you can get the completionist feat. there should be 3 tiers each class and race falls in, the lowest tier is the free to play classes. the mid tier is the ones you can unlock from grinding favor drow, artificier, favored soul. then the high end premium tier because you needed to spend actual money or grinded 5000 favor or 1250 ddo points to unlock the class/race
