The trinkets and rum are current cove loot, and are not available from the main barter box. You can only get those current items from the old, hidden, out of the way chest. That's not a great design decision.

You farm up a few hundred greens and go to get your trinkets and...doh! There are no trinkets in the barter box, and there is no other barter box to be found unless you know exactly where to find it. Oh well, I guess no cunning trinkets for you.

Why would you hide current cove loot in the tavern behind barrels?

The trinkets and rum are current cove loot, and are not available from the main barter box. You can only get those current items from the old, hidden, out of the way chest. That's not a great design decision.


All of the unchanged recipes should have been moved to the new barter box, so people will see them alongside all the new and updated items. Right now there are a lot of people who don't follow the forums who had no idea that the old recipes were preserved and who didn't see the old barter box in the hidden place it was parked.

And where can be found old Swashbuckler with appropriate doubleshot bonuses? Currently my ML24 old Swasbuckler give only Doublestrike bonuses instead Doublestrike/Doubleshot ( as description say and was before your CC update).

Then there is the need to "keep moving forward" and many issues will be "placed on the back-burner" until the next event, at the earliest?

I am just glad we finally have someone employed (other than Cordovan) who browses the forums and replies to our concerns (even if I dislike the response).

I cleaned up a lot of the old item effects for U39 that were giving both Doublestrike and Doubleshot while only reporting one of the two effects. It looks like this one was among the block that was affected by this effort to clean up. That being said, I don't really know why this was supposed to be giving both in the first place. To my knowledge, we made a concentrated effort to split those effects up quite some time ago. The heroic versions of the legacy Swashbuckler (the buckler) don't grant both Doublestrike and Doubleshot, and it doesn't make any real thematic sense as to why a buckler with melee attributes also makes throwing marginally more effective.

As far as I remember all version give both bonuses ( as many items ( possibly illegitimate ) with doublestrike until last update ). For Swashbuckler both bonuses clearly was legitimate because description for ML24 clearly say so.
Can't say more clearly, because I already upgrade my old heroic version into epic long time ago, and current heroic versions all broken, of course, same way as epic.

Seriously?!! Buckler with name Swashbuckler, meaning for use by Swashbuckler Bard, with Swashbuckler enhancement tree clearly designed for use both melee and throwing weapon while swashbuckling not have any real thematic sense for you?!! Well, then I have some bad news for you... 8)

Instead say more garbage, just give simple answer: this broken stuff will be fixed or no? It's important, because currently absolutely no reason use old version instead new and upgrade must be done to new immediately.
So, we can hope you can fix Swashbuckler to old worked parameters? Doubleshot attribute from this shield need for Thrower Bard builds ( yes, don't say about flavour builds, please, I know )! 8)
