Happy July 4th!
In Reaper Life 2, every quest and every episode is higher skull than we've ever attempted, so the videos capture our first experiences and reactions to these high skull dungeons. You get to see our challenges, our triumphs and perils, and you get to laugh with us and sometimes laugh at us. Sometimes we are surprised about how well we perform and sometimes we get wrecked. This update features both!
One of our personal goals of the series was to do 1000 skulls worth of questing by the time we hit level 20, without banking against level. By the time we finished level 14, we had 49 R10 completions and a total of 918 skulls toward our goal of 1000 skulls!
R10 Crucible
The Crucible is such an awesome classic. If you've been playing DDO awhile, you probably have a lot of memories of this quest, and probably some traumatic ones. There are traps that shred you, casters that pummel you from above and a murky swim of impaling death. Yes I too have countless memories from being lost in the maze to getting stuck in the underwater tunnels. Old timers may remember that Crucible used to be a flagging quest for Reaver's Fate, so we had to run it! Back then, newbies like me would beg veteran guildies to carry us through the terrifying gauntlet of misery known as The Crucible.
I was very happy with our performance in this one. We certainly have our fair share of deaths, but my own single death came from not backing down against an R10 carnage reaper. I almost survived :p

R10 Ghosts of Perdition
This is one of the most challenging quests in reaper mode. The boss can drain your constitution and make you helpless just by looking at you. In seconds you can have an entire party of helpless adventurers screaming that they need a restoration, with no one to save them. In Reaper Life 1, we did this one on R7 and it was the biggest challenge of the series. In RL2, I just wanted to try it again on R7 to gauge our progress. But by this time we were on a big R10 streak and so we decided to go all the way to 10 skulls.
This episode rivals the R10 Invaders episode as one of our biggest challenges of the series. It's an ugly and costly slog, but we fought for the win. Despite it being so rough, it was actually not nearly as bad as our R7 run in RL1. Whether you watch this one to laugh at Micky running laps with a carnage reaper in tow or you just enjoy seeing us get served, this is a look at what I believe is the first ever heroic R10 GOP video!
